Hello! I forgot to mention in the video but the game is currently only out in Japanese, however the English localization is coming on July 28th if it does look interesting to you
As of right now in the Japanese version, you missed 3 finale chapters from Levenia's scenario. The chapters focus on 2 weapon memory characters. One being called "The Regretful Soldier," who's tied to Lars from the last chapter you covered in this video. Then there's another character called "The Sealed Girl," her real name is Noelle and she wakes up in a research facility with no memory of who or what she was prior and only has a voice in her mind guiding her. The Final chapter to Levenia's Route covers Fio, which details her past and where she came from, as well as this being the chapter Fio and Levenia switch bodies.
I've played nier reincarnation latest chapter and I think it's probably the arc from automata. It was mentioned that The Cage was once a paradise where all the characters in the memories live. It was then attacked by some black foes which then turned it to The Cage. It could also be the divine tree but im really not sure
Man, this sort of story heavy game has no business being a gacha-live service game. Just like kingdom hearts unchained x. For all we know, we could be waiting years for it to complete, suffering gacha mechanics and needlessly spending money.
This is why i think the fans should boycott this game. Not only his games are philosophical and hard to understand at the first glance, but he makes it so hard for the majority of fans to even acces his work, let alone for us, western fans. Over the years i lost most of my interest in this universe because Yoko Taro is just fucking troll.
Its honestly not that bad, you can pull 200 times (and get any 4 star character you want) and not spend any money. The game is very generous early on. It starts to get hard once all the free stuff runs out tho
Thank you! My phone isnt compatible with the game so I'm going to miss out on it unless it gets compiled into a standalone release later. And since FFXV Pocket Edition went to Switch, I have some hope. I look forward to your next video!
Thanks I appreciate the support as always! Since this is another Square Enix title there certainly is a chance it comes over to other systems at some point, like Crystal Chronicles or FF Adventure and so on
Honestly, if anything the black birds are doing the stories a favor since some of these stories mostly ends up in a Nier trademark tragedy melancholy, or even a worse fate than death.
8:20 You need to play the hard mode of the story. Because Spoiler: Akeha isn't dead. She lives and in the story told at the end of her hard missions it's revealed her and the girl made it out alive. It says the girl is 16. So her story was the only one with a happy ending.
Couldn't it be that the cage is the ark that is thrown at the end of Route D from Automata? That would make sense due to all the knowledge and memories found there.
@@billcipher9068 it's implied, although it's never explained what the Cage really is, Mama simply discribes it as a mysterious structure and Carrier states that because of the girl's dreams being memories of others she has an affinity with that world.
@@robby6382 I know I laughed when it turned out satellite was right with the card game when they made that reply and then what do you know the next Yoko game card game... want to make a bet on what next Yoko will pull from the Hat
@@trevorveillette8415 normally I don't like dating Sims or best to say I don't like playing them myself. But I might make an exception if it's from Yoko sensei!
As I mentioned this was before the English localization so at the time the general consensus was the name リオン was intended to be the Japanese transliteration of the name "Leon" . In the end the English version did a one to one translation to Rion, but in Japanese the pronunciation is the same for both.
I think there is always a reason why people make videos on RU-vid. I would like the know what's your reason. And I would like to know if you think everyone can find a reason.
I guess to create something tangible and shareable that helps people experience games that I enjoy. I'm sure everyone can find a reason, but they may get different levels of enjoyment out of it depending on what that reason is
@@rexicon Thanks for the reply. For some reason I like to find reasons for things that don't need reasons. Hopefully I would find a reason one day to do something that brings me happiness.
Well...nobody knows what the title of NieR means, not even the staff that worked on it. The only one who would know is Yoko Taro, but when asked in an interview his answer was: "Yoko: What does “NieR” mean…… You’re really putting me on the spot, but there’s one thing I can say: It’s a curse." The capitalized R also has no apparent meaning he says he just like the look of the title better that way. The capitalizations in YoRHa apparently have meaning according to him but he won't say what. In all honesty Yoko Taro probably just likes messing with us.
Cool video! I've been hooked into Nier Reincarnation ever since the launch! I hate gacha games but Yoko Taro knows how to trap me in since I adore the entire Nier Franchise. I'm curious how the lore connects to the other games but the monster does remind me of shades.
