Macey was all of us who knew Yoko Taro's work. Healing through that raid while breaking down in tears was not easy, I tell you that.

Drak: I was planning to share with my family, but they disappeared after a day...into my stomach. Me: Drak ate his family, confirmed!

Skipping the cut-scene after means Drak doesn't get into smash.

So, on the first boss, it's possible to have a full wipe after killing it if you time it just right. His massive knockback move can still go off a second or so after it dies, but the blocks instantly despawn, so if you kill it at just the right instant, it knocks everyone off the platform to their death even after the boss is dead. I experienced this first hand, and it was hilarious.

Seeing Rhaya freaking out about the hacking was the best! And I think Macey is now my new favorite

I like the fact that Rhaya brought up a mechanic from delebrum reginae savage, saying not everyone did the ivalice raids, when delebrum is locked off behind the ivalice raids

It was very surreal watching the video because my reaction was opposite of Macey's for the last boss. While she's excited and sounds like she's so happy, the first few minutes was me just saying "Kill it, kill it, kill it!" in various pitches to my voice call.

I legit hoped you'd make a Super Smash reference of "GAME!" when the building yeets everyone. From the platform perspective you can see players slowly fall spinning like when sent Smashed out of stage. 😂 first time clearing I had Macey's almost dying laughter.

I agree with everyone commenting this. We need more Macey! She's great! I had the same reactions as Macey on patch day. I was absolutely losing my shit through the entire raid. We get to the end and my friends started asking what's going? Me: ITS DRAKENGARD! *screams* Friends: Take a deep breathe, stop screaming, stop fucking crying and tell us what's going on?! Me: I CAAAANT, I CAAAANNT *proceeds to cry even more and they remove me from the party* Need more Nier nerds in my life

I'm so excited for a Best of Sam and Mieu.

My day 1 run of this was hilarious because, in addition to the usual lack of knowledge about mechanics, after the 2P trash fight and the Red Girls replacing the bodies, me freaking out was accompanied by someone in another alliance using their Danger Bongos macro, which was extremely fitting.

Macey and Sam were a great addition, enjoyed watching this a ton!

I'm just disappointed on the fact that no one got the pure ending E drakengard reference as soon as phase 2 of final boss. Even the final song is there... And it's tokyo.... On the upside, jesus fuck, i screamed when final boss showed up then the first few notes played. Healer said they can't heal emotional damage tho

You know, the moment I saw the Red Girl's mechanics basically matched the hacking ones from Automata, my immediate first thought was "Rhaya's gonna HATE this, isn't he?" And then the ACTUAL hacking game happened XD Glad to see my predictions are coming through strong ^^ Also, I REALLY loved Macey's inclusion in this raid ^^

There's two kinds of reactions going into that last fight. Fans who only played Automata: wtf is this even? Yoko Taro fans since Drakengard: Witness now an amalgam of every tragedy that came before YoRHa. Ten-thousand years of history made manifest before us. Zero and the Intoners. The Watchers unleashed upon the world. The plague known as the Black Scrawl that the Grotesquerie Queen's defeat brought. The place where Nier began. Welcome to Ending E of Drakengard... Seeing Rhaya foam at the mouth at the hacking, and then just all of you getting yeeted has brought great joy. also My friend was just like Mieu They were suffering so much on the last fight because of the music.

I love how filthy NEST has gotten since the Heavensward days. The chemistry between everyone is amazing.

I was so happy to hear Kainé's theme AND Wretched Weaponry both in the same raid. I had been insisting that Wretched Weaponry needed to be in the game for SO LONG

The "Look down guys, look down!" cracked me up. XD I also got jebaited by the pointer marker under the boss and was yeeted by the SE tower my first run. Also, it never fails to amuse me when someone gets destroyed by a train. People were probably crying during the final boss, and I was sitting there going: "The music is so pretty!". After the raid was over, I went digging into the lore to try and figure out what the heck the story was all about here. XD Was familiar with Automata but not the rest. I hate this new raid only because I spend about half of the third boss (Red Girl) with my eyes closed because I can't handle the flashing blacks/whites (as someone with sensory issues; thankfully no seizures) . So for the rest of the raid, I'm a good rezmage...but on the third boss I'll always need at least one rez. ^^; I do love the hacking part, though. And the rest of it is okay...I actually would prolly like this raid if it wasn't for the flashing lights in the 3rd boss.

The secong phace of the last boss and the whole background there is all a reference to the Drakenguard games. also the black and white cirkles is a rythem mechanick notorious to be insanly hard cus of the camera angles in Drakenguard 1. I love that Macey got the reference and i was in the same emotional state as she was first time i saw the last boss and heard the music.

Nobody can comprehend how much I needed Rhaya's anger in my life.

Not gonna lie, when I got the last boss of this raid, I think my brain just... broke. Short-circuited. I didn't know *what* to think about what I was seeing *or* what I was hearing. It was just that mind-blowing to me. But damn... this raid was pretty good. Story was confusing, in true Yoko Taro fashion, to the point where I had to look up information from Drakengard to figure out what the heck was happening, but the raids themselves were some of the greatest things I've ever seen in this game. I'm feeling really hyped to see what's in story for us in Endwalker! ...Hyped... and simultaneously terrified. Because mother of god, *that image for the Pandaemonium raid is still making a small part of me freak out in my mind!*

- Macey's wheeze (at 27:10) is the second's best laugh, right after Feralana's laugh, at 27:13... it's sooooo... pretty (she has a genuine laugh that is nice to hear) :)

And to think this was the first video (iirc) that I watched from this channel, and the first video that made me more interested in playing FFXIV :') I started playing in earnest this year and I cannot wait to do this 24-man when I get to it! Although I'm sorta worried my BRD might not be enough and I'll have to level up GNB instead. Let's just hope my experience in D2 raid teamwork coordination won't betray me.
