I don’t know why the judges were so hard on him. This is the first dance ever on the show that I’ve wanted to be in the dance with someone, he drew me right into it. ❤

Out of all the dances there have been this year from all the couples, this is the one that always pops in to my head. It’s just so beautiful. 😊

Nigel is the one to watch this year. He was amazing tonight much like last week. I'm just hoping he doesn't let the pace slacken. He appears to be good at everything he touches, like other contestants he left his comfort zone and tried something different. This is a lesson we can all learn. Have a good day reader.

Shirley was brutal to poor Nigel tonight. I thought the dance was incredibly captivating, his acting and storytelling was exquisite! I thought he danced it beautifully and really loved Katya’s choreography/ concept.

This was so mesmerising ! The way they moved like floating. Nigel is really lucky he got Katya as despite some issues, it’s still a very beautiful dance with the storytelling and choreography. It’s their first ballroom so hopefully he’ll do better next time

I thought this was gorgeous & then I heard the Judges' comments & I thought we'd watched a different performance. Came here to see it again. Yes, still gorgeous.

I'm still laughing about Craig saying "You're so picky" to Shirley

This was just so graceful and charming to watch. The little kiss at the start omg... 🥺 I thought Shirley was very harsh on not only Nigel but lots of contestants tonight which was unnecessary. But I like the fact that on one dance when she critiqued someone Craig was like: ‘Someone’s being a bit picky down there’ ‘pick pick pick pick’ 😂😂😂

I love this partnership. They are the duo I’m most excited to watch each week. I can’t wait to see what else they have in store for us.

I loved this dance and was so lost in the emotion of it. It flowed beautifully and I think it was very accomplished for week 2. Katya choreographed a beautiful dance! Shirley was very picky and pretty harsh in her comments, but I'm sure these two will work on that feedback and get better and better as the weeks go on!

This is a great partnership and the dance was so elegant and beautiful it seemed so effortless from nigel the way he glided across the dancefloor as katya really brings out the best in him a great danceteacher

Sung and orchestrated beautifully

I thought this dance was great, done everything Katya asked of him. Craig was right, as long as things are memorable and there is clear effort being made then, it’s enough to get our votes. Katya Jones is actually such a beautiful actress as well.

Not normally my sort of thing, but I thought that the performance was excellent and I'm really enjoying these two as a couple.

He could have been smoother but the routine was captivating from start to finish. Good chemistry between these two, and they look terrific together. Katya is an eye candy who dances like a goddess. Choreographic talent plus excellent school training plus top-level competition experience have made her a true star of this show.

Score - *7/10* As a performance it was beautiful, lovely story and connection and a long flowy drive all the way through and good changes of directions. It was tame compared to the paso but that was a hard one to follow. Just some work on the topline and connection with the footwork but i really enjoyed watching it and it was so graceful and elegant. Definite final potential again here

He reminds me of when Danny Mac was on. He was brilliant from his performance to his last. I thought this dance was beautiful and I think Nigel is the one to beat this year.

Time now for this past Sunday's Strictly Come Dancing and the gliding of Nigel and Katya and this week it was the Viennese Waltz with Until I Found You by Stephen Sanchez. The Judges loved everything in a style when this passion turns and she has more training on the list. It bought energy when they dance that she had for her. Shirley about her strategies and that was too many takes in that. Nigel was know for millions as this character on what show? With the score of 59, that actor was on the next round....

Someone let me know when I can buy this version of the song - so amazing. I like the original song but this is heaven!

Score: *8/10* He was great but I think at the start it had a bit too much flow and it was a bit clingy. But, my lord, I loved this. Well done Nigel and Katya. Absolutely great for week 2.

Very comfortable with physical closeness with katya and rhythm with music. Great ballroom hold. Apart from shoulders tense and too high and a bit speedy rather than smooth Aahhhh ❤❤❤❤

This was simply beautiful should have been higher on leader board Shirley was harsh noticed she didn't say as much to some others with far lower points.

Wasn't as good as last week but still awesome. He did have a few technique problems which he'll improve more. Katya's choreography is getting better and better everytime. 7/10

7 I thought Shirley’s comments were way too picky, just like Craig said. I really enjoyed watching this dance, there was some great storytelling, the technique was mostly there, but his fleckerl was a bit shaky, there were a couple mistakes, but he will fix those without a doubt! Keep going Nigel 👏🏻👏🏻

Ugh, this is one of those times where Shirley gets really quite lecture-y and gives out a verbal lashing like the celebrity has deliberately danced as such to personally offend her for absolutely no reason. This is why I never really warmed to her as a judge. She can be perfectly lovely sometimes, but others, she gets a massive bee in her bonnet and goes in really harsh when there is no need for it. At least Craig is consistent with his marking, opinions and behaviour.

I loved it. So why the hell did this get such negative feedback from the judges? I actually thought it was better than his Paso Doble. It was so beautiful and lovely. It seems like the judges are turning Strictly into a popularity contest, not the British public, which is a change for once.

They need a competition to keep viewers watching they do it every year if any one looks like they are the winners so early, they can’t let Nigel be a walk over. It was a beautiful dance a few mistakes but not as bad as biased Shirley made out. Not my favourite judge never been a fan has her favourites.

I used to prefer it when everyone did the Viennese waltz together and it was carnage on the dance floor… but that was quite nice 😁

Nigel and Katya Next doing a Viennese Waltz. negatives his frame was wooden at the back of the shoulders and his free arm when he went in and out of hold was very random in it's action, he needs to loosen his back so it doesn't look stiff and he needs to learn how to extend his free arm in lovely lines maybe stretching for something out of reach would be good practice. postive well Nigel is an actor so he can perform a routine as well as Katya can do great choreography so they will have no trouble on that score. going forward Nigel needs to take criticism on the chin and move onto the next dance the Paso was a hit for him this one not as much, I am sure he will do better next week.

Nigel is a stunning performer. You cant help but get sucked in by his story telling. Its sublime. The problem is thay it was a bit hoppy. The footwork was erroneous at best, a Viennese waltz should be much flatter. 5

Shirley was harsh tonight not just with Nigel but with most apart from somebody who actually deserved some harsh criticism (Les). I loved this he's my favourite although I didn't vote for him because I feel he will get the votes, 7/10

I would expect an actor to be able to act out the dance so very good on the bit he has experience doing. The VW bits in hold felt a bit stumbly and trotty so I couldn't get caught up in the dreamy flow that I felt it should have had.

I’m not a fan of the Viennese Waltz (too much spinning) but this was beautifully danced.

why did he get such a low score compared to others who were really bad ?

In a very funny way, the "low" score from Shirley is going to do him favours. People on this show love a JURNEEEE, and the Week 2(or 3)-dip in scores is a classic Strictly-patented storyline (see: Hamza, Joe McFadden). It's the main reason why I'm 100000000000000% sure Layton is not going to win. It's a three horse race between Bobby, Nigel and Angela Scanlon. Mark my words.

Ridiculous how little in hold this is and the judges refuse to call the pros out on it.
