I saw a video of someone trying to apply online using innovate1 which shows Epassport but mine is showing only standard Passport. Am I on the right path please 🙏🥺

Thanks for sharing your experience, This has helped me alot. I have a scheduled appointment next week, but my NIN name has not been updated yet, the person I paid said he's still on it. Should still go for my appointment or go after the NIN name is updated? Will I be allowed to enter once my appointment has passed? Please help. Thanks

Hi Mahtilda, thanks for the information. I had my NIN card in Nigeria but I unfortunately lost it. I have downloaded the NIMC app and paid for the Digital NIN Slip. Do you think the digital slip is acceptable for passport renewal in the UK?

This is my story as well. The passport is still not ready: still "application received" on the tracking website. Will have to cancel my flight.

That's why countries like Nigeria never progress! In this day and age of advance technology and internet, why does one even need to appear physically at all! To renew your British passport, you just need to fill a form, get it witnessed, attach passport size photograph and post it, and within a few weeks you get your new passport posted to you. Less than £100 to renew, no paying for any special delivery or £20 postal order (what exactly is that for, after one has already paid £200+ for the application!). Everything about that country is just stressful!!!

We have to mad to be Nigerian and pay for samething that marks you out in the world. People have stories about what happens when you show up with your Nigerian passport. We do not need that. We love Nigeria but our government do not love us.
