Nigerians are running to countries that have fought for their own freedom. The true price of freedom is death. Your death in Libya is a dishonorable death but the death in Nigeria while fighting for your freedom is an honorable death. Ask Malcolm X, Martin luther king. Nkrumah. Sankara. and all the freedom fighters whose death advanced a change in the lives of the Black Nations all over the world.
This is still going on till this very day! I'm pleased that these folks told their stories about the reality of the trip. So much more needs to be done. Keep up the good work.
A bird at hand is always better. When you miss road in this life, that's when you know that some humans are worst than Satan and all the demons combined together. Let us live a life of happiness with the little things we have
@@ellaj.9654 ONLY THE STUPID AND IDIOTS ALWAYS FIND A WAY TO JUSTIFY THEIR WRONG AND MISTAKES.. 2.. THE ONLY SATAN THAT EXIST ARE PEOPLE LIKE YOU, U IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCUSE TO PULISH THEIR WRONGS AND MISTAKES TO LOOK A BIT GOOD... DO I LOOK LIKE A MAN WORDS OR EXCUSE CAN PUSH OVER... GO AND FIX YA HEAD OK
You need to spread the message: The grass is NOT greener on the other side of the fence. Stay at home in Nigeria. Very simple. I would never go to North Korea either. And without a visa I would probably be executed.
Thanks to the Nigerian government for not abandoning these people. I know there is a long way to go, not to talk about the situation which led these young folks to such an expedition.
Pls Sahara Tv stop asking why they left Nigeria, the political leaders should be the best to answer that question. The bad governance of Nigeria is the reason people leave for greener pastures .
Ignatious Reilly Why would you say such a racist and derogatory thing such as that. Im sure there are more intelligent ways of expressing yourself rather than being so ignorant (all though presumptuous) like that of the people you speak of.
The Africans go to Libya and they are mistreated. Then the Africans go to Europe and the African are mistreating Europe. There is no excuse. They should stay at home. Stop invading other countries illegally. In Europe we have laws. And please stop always using the slave excuse from 100 years ago. Many things happened 100 years ago. Germany ruined the entire Europe only 73 years ago and killed 11 million fellow Europeans. But we moved on.
That Nigerian man that spoke first, speaks very good English very well. Like that Nigerian man said, next time just jump on a plane and go to Europe. There's no rule of law in Libya.
The government is the problem of Africa problems. A Rich country like Nigeria there is no common 1,, No Electricity 2.. No Food 3.. No Tap Water 4.. No good Schools 5.. No Go medical care..
Black To Grace And what is stopping Nigeria men and women from laying curse; Sweaing, putting Spell On Any corrupt politicians or leaders Weekly Swearing to them, group Swearing, every week
Good point however, these things are very expensive in Europe. Anybody leaving Nigeria because of these without a ready job in Europe is going to face hell
If people were returning voluntarily from Libya to Nigeria over a year ago why are some people still in Libya today? Those who dream that the gates to Europe will be opened any time soon should accept reality by returning home.
If only we've had good human beings in those leadership positions...we Africans really need to check ourselves because we have wrecked ourselves. We are the cause of this sadness for letting criminals in political and leadership positions and for being cheaply bought by those wicked politicians. We Africans are to blame for imbibing in this culture of wanting the easy way out by supporting wicked people who decide to run for political positions because they are our family members or people of same tribe and ethnicity or religions. We have lost our ways and direction and we really need to wake up. People don't take us seriously anymore for letting these same clowns lead us all over the continent over snd over again!
Why are they all from my state @ delta. I literally cried today. I know the government has failed us, but please lets not risk our lives for a trip we are not even sure of. I never planned on living abroad, but as God would have it, I do now, but even here in the States, the grass is not greener. I know they know better now. PRAY they all settle back in.
golda williams very true. Africa think they will have a better lives in the western world. Yes they will have a better lives if they really work hard for it. Every where is tough in the world.
I love the last speaker he accept his mistake and say sorry and he has humanitarian feelings for his colleagues who are still living in Libya suffering he is asking the government to go and help them as well Thank God you all came home safe Am sorry for what you guys when through 😭😭😭May God give you the grace to do something better with your new life.
😭 😭 😭 my heart breaks for them. May God open ways for them to bounce back on their feet in Jesus Name Amen 🙏🏿. And may God open ways for others who r still there to get to their desired destinations. I also pray that God will help Nigerian economy to get better so that people won’t have to risk their lives this way. My heart breaks seriously 🤦🏿♀️
Exactly. Thank you, sir. If you do not like the way things are in Nigeria, then f**cking DO SOMETHING about it!!! If you want a change, create that change. Sitting on your hands and whining will get none of us anywhere.
Its absolutely ridiculous that all these people have no electricity , clean water , school or healthcare . very sad too see . They need to do better for Africans !
African youth has the right to dream too and they deserve to travel and visit others countries with no visa restriction. A red Passport has more value than a Green Passport. it's not right . Africa should be also strict in their visa immigration too
Thanks God and also goes to the Heroes who help to brought this people life home am sad😢😢for the pains and treatment they goes through in Libya but God has listen to your cry and prayers
sahara reporters you guys should find someone that can tell the truth about the sex slavery that they've (both men and women) been subject to and the other inhuman, degrading manner in which they were treated both on the way and on getting there. if you have to provide anonymity change location move the person to a location where they can tell their story without being recognized etc....we need to keep this on a loop for a while so that at least this generation can play those stories again and again....
It's quite unfortunate but thats not the end of the world my people. You can make it back home once you are settled. Believe in yourself. Mrs interviewer, can I make contact with the gentle man you interviewed from 7:57 to 10:12. Thank you
Where was the governor or government before they embark on this journey, those that loose their lives how did the government or governor fee about it. I believe he is happy because non of his family or relatives is involved
Why won't men from all over the world not realise that when you are uneducated, unemployable and illegal, the west has nothing for you. If you can contribute rather than take, apply legally, otherwise please put your energy into improving your own country and life.
The guy receiving them doesnt seem very helpful or understanding. I get the feeling hes gonna do the cowardly thing n blame the victims...Of course not many would risk it if nigeria had more opportunities.
The problems with Nigeria are numerous and we have been on ' e go better' for a long time but not getting results. Whilst the government has alot to do to resolve the problems. I also see solutions that we Nigerians can do to help. 23k plus views in just 4 days.....I strongly believe most people who viewed this 23minute video are not in Nigeria as many resident nigerians cannot afford that level of internet connectivity. So what can we do other than to comment? Surely not all, but how many of us are really ready to sacrifice something for Nigeria or Nigerians? We can! call it a widow's mite but like our people would say: "na cooperation dey make rice full pot". We can lead the change we want to see regardless of whether our governments are responsible or not. 23k is just a little fraction of Nigerians in the diaspora. But imagine we got only 20k people contribute a 100 dollar each ...that sums up to 2million dollars.....about 700million naira. Invest this money in Nigeria.. perhaps a manufacturing outfit (maybe one of those crazy things Nigeria imports) ...get some nigerians employed...and let the industry give birth to other industries...employing more nigerians and creating a better nigeria. That is a change we can lead. from a meagre 100dollar contribution..We would however need to be sincere in our plight and look beyond our myriad of lines of division we have created for ourselves....religious..ethnic...tribe and be true progressives. But first of ......moment of truth ...'Are we truly ready to sacrifice something for Nigeria?
This journalist with too much questions Wat wud make people leave naija in d first place if there was a normal life in Nigeria wud pple risk their lives my advice to pple is thank God for what u hav and stop fantasizing
