Nice photos and good use of the converter and I like the statement about being prepared, which is real talk because it’s going to be shooting with those photos or if someone thinks they are going to come up on something, it will be just……..Ah blazing!!! Always be prepared unfortunately for the time and situation that we are in. I’m like you Vuhlandes, stay ready so that you don’t have to get ready. Keep it real and keep taking those photos.
Hi Vuhlandes! I've been following you since last year ever since I decided to take photography more seriously (with a Fuji!). I love the look of your portraits, especially how you love using wide angle lenses (16mm F1.4 for your Fuji, if I'm not mistaken). Your shots are inspiring man, truly. Made me want to train myself with wide angle lenses for portraits. Respect from Indonesia.
Glad i came across your channel! I just got an X100V and love watching how others use theirs. Its nice to see someone in Detroit and not another LA photographer haha. Great photos, keep up the good work and stay armed #pro2A
I thought the images turned out very usable! As someone who does a lot of night photography on my channel, I’m always curious about the low light capabilities of lots of cameras! Thanks for this one my dude!
Man, I’ve been watching a ton of X100V videos 👀 love your takes on night photography. That’s the only time I really get to have for photography. Keep it up!
Vulandes don’t be scared to shoot more in the city and in low light, you ain’t gonna be infected with the teal and orange disease. 😂 all jokes tho, those are some dope ass photos 🤙
Absolutely been loving your vids man. I was wondering what strength black pro mist you use? I’ve got a Fuji xt4 and been using a 1/8 bpm, but I’ve been thinking about bumping up the strength a bit.
That was some real special early-morning cool-air atmosphere you captured there. Great off-the-cuff shot of the birds too. One thing I found with the X100V and the other X100 cameras, their leaf shutter makes shutter speeds really forgiving when shooting night photography hand held. I found I could get away with 1/4 second shots thanks to the lack of mirror-slap which helped out with ISO a bit, though maybe the pro-mist filter steals a bit of a stop from you, I don't know. Anyway, you killed it.
Super glad you made this. I’ve got the V with the sole purpose of the fact it’s versatile in low light. Awesome that you used the converters. Nobody else has done this.
I’m new to channel, but I had a suggestion: I think it would be cool to see how you would do with film photography during a basketball or football game? It would be cool to see the end result. Love the content, and I’ll be here till the end bro 🤠
Thanks for doing a video on this. I’ve been looking forward to it. Curious to know what you thought about the flash? I purchased the external flash with mine but to me I don’t think I actually needed it. Thank you again for always keeping it 100. Hope you had a good night that evening.
Those shots under the bridge, loved the vibe! I have a 1/8 Black Pro Mist 100% of the time on my X100F, really like the outcome whenever I shoot with it.
There's a little gizmo called a Manfrotto MP3 that's so helpful for night photography. It's a little flat-pack tripod that you screw to the bottom of your camera, now everything is a tripod. trash cans, mail boxes, the floor, a wall...
I’m not sure if you noticed but you can comfortably shoot handheld at iso 3200 while wide open at f2 in most night situations. With a steady hand you can get good results at 1/8 of sec, sometimes 1/4. Great video though. Take care.
After watching your videos since summer now, I grabbed my folks 35mm Ricoh XR-2 and bought some Kodak Gold (only thing I could find in my town). Now the challenge of getting these rolls developed. Looking like I’ll have to make an hour drive to have it done. At least until I can get my hands on the equipment and chemicals to do it at home.
The other day I shoot some pictures of the moon with a X-T30, I shoot in aperture priority, 6400-8000 ISO, the photos turned out perfect, only a little noise reduction was needed
Saul Lieter and Ansel Adams shot at the same spot for years. When you find a spot you love always go back to it. The beauty is it will change everytime while staying the same.
Fotos looked great even at high ISO imo Unrelated question, if you don’t mind: what are you holding and do you always pocket carry? I just bought an “anti-snag” sig but I’m pretty sketched to pocket carry without a safety
Hey, man, I'm a big fan! I shoot an XT4 and I'm hoping the next x100 has the same battery (so I can justify owning one). Question: have you ever thought of getting a clamp-pod? Something that would be compact but allow you to shoot night time stuff as one as it has a solid thing to clamp onto? Much love, LGDSS.
I just recently got an x-e4 and this little thing puts in WORK in low light, from what I've shot at least. I threw on a ttartisan 50mm f1.2 and it worked great 🤩. I probably won't get the x100v but I've been looking at the older x100 cameras like the f or t to use as an alternative daily carry camera
