Night Ranger! The soundtrack of high school - these guys were fantastic, and I believe may still be touring in some capacity. The guitar work is absolute wizardry 🤘🏻
Thank you so much for doing that one. I haven’t seen that in a long time. I was in high school when this came out such a great great time the 80s were the absolute best great great great great band love your reaction.
AWESOME!!! I first saw Night Ranger in the original video for this song in the early days of MTV. I was hooked IMMEDIATELY!!! I was already a bit of a hard rock guy when I heard this. Ran out and boght the album that day. Then I saw them open for Billy Idol. The singer/bass player was also in Damn Yankees (supergroup). I love the nostalgia RED!!!! GREAT REACTION as always. CEERS...🍻👏🤟
This was mine and my identical twin brother's first ever conert(R.I P. Bro 11-17-2023),they backed up KISS way back in 1983 at the Portland Civic Center.. Great times we had😎🤘💔.Portland Maine By the way...Lol😉.. Great Reaction Beautiful Woman
This clip was shown on MTV during the Sunday Night Concert series when they used to actually play music in the early 80's. I remember convincing my mom to let me use a whole VHS tape to record the entire show. I believe it was their Budakan, Tokyo show on their Midnight Madness tour.
I saw these guys in 1984 for my graduation night party the singer jack went on to play and sing in damn Yankees and the guitarist with red pants Brad went on to record the speak of the devil record with ozzy after Randy Rhodes died in the plane crash great musicians all of them
I actually saw these guys live when they were first getting popular. They were opening for a band I went to see, I can’t remember who. Pretty cool band.
Night Ranger is a bit of a guilty pleasure. I saw the opening show of their 1985-86 Seven Wishes tour in Park City, UT, while I was earning money for college on the Union Pacific. Later that year, when I had gone off to school, I saw them again at the RPI field House in Troy, NY. My college roomie, who was very deep into the Euro-Alt of the time (Smiths, Joy Division, Love and Rockets, Echo and the Bunnymen, The Church, etc.), was extremely underwhelmed. And he was right. Over the years, I've listened to way more of the his music than I have to Night Ranger. I did like them at the time, and this video makes me smile, but most days I'll easily take "Under the Milky Way" or "How Soon Is Now?" over "Don't tell Me." Thanks for the chance to share. Looking forward to the next one.

I love Night Ranger. I used to play drums to their greatest hits album. All the songs were great but my favorite song is The Secret To My Success. That’s also the name of a movie that featured the song. I considered Night Ranger similar to The Tubes in that they are way better than they got credit for early on in their careers. The Tubes has a song called Modern Problems that ended up as the credits music for a movie of the same name. A very underrated song imo.
Their other hit was Sister Christen which was a totally different style and vibe 🎸🎸Red THANK YOU FOR ALWAYS TRUSTING MY REQUEST YOU ARE SUCH A KIND AND FUN LADY❤❤ABSOLUTLY ADORE YOU❤❤#nightranger #80smusic #nightrangerreaction #redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #redsarmy #beautifulfuncountrygirl #29K #heartofgoldwithmetalinhersoul #bestbadjokes
I don’t think of Spinal Tap because I was a part of this scene very early on. I started going to concerts when I was 14. ALL the bands toured through my city! It was pretty much all I did in the 80’s and 90’s on. That’s how I got to see so much. I was in on the ground floor when all of this was just starting. My concert list is stupid ridiculous. 😆 RUSH alone on 18 different tours over the decades. All the big (and smaller) bands numerous times each. Stories for days. I’m surprised I still have a functioning liver and eardrums! Those were some VERY LOUD nights! Ha Ha!

So you like Rush and Nightwish - two of my favorite bands! Then you will LOVE Ayreon!! Try "The day that the world breaks down" Studio version. The song is performed by 11 good singers, and Floor is one of them.
Brad is a great guitarist and we all know this, especially filling in for the late Randy Rhoads to finish that tour with Ozzy, but for me Jeff Watson was a shred master.. so under rated. and it's criminal these guys aren't in the Rock Hall
Rock hall? I mean, Night Ranger is great and all, but the Hall is reserved for legendary bands with long careers that made a huge impact on the industry. night ranger never achieved that status. Right or wrong.
Rush has always stood the test of time for me, but as a teenage guitarist in the 80s... come on, you had Jeff and Brad from this band, Eddie VH, The Scorpions, Judas Priest. They all had excellent musicianship and a "sexy" leading man on vocals. Nothin' wrong with that, it was the 80s!
Yep. Spinal Tap comes to mind every time I see 80's metal. I was waiting to see if the bread was too small when they went back to the dressing room. 🤣 I mentioned in the Styx video yesterday I could see where the inspiration for one of the scenes came from. I got into metal in 84/85 so this was a couple of years before so maybe that's why I never heard of these guys. I'm surprised they didn't cross my radar. I think with all this 80's rock we need some early Def Leppard and Iron Maiden in the neighborhood (feels wrong leaving that U out. 😜) There's some good live stuff on yt from their early days.
Night Ranger was my favorite band growing up Brad Gillis and Jeff Watson in guitar and Jack Blades in bass I forgot the keyboards name but I loved this band I saw them in concert 2 times and in front row I got a pick from Brad Gillis and got to shake Jeff wattsons hand he came all the way across the stage and shook my hand and my brother just missed Kelly Keggys drumstick now react to there hit You can still Rick in Amarica and by the way we are still waiting on more Dan Vasc lol I’m sorry but we love him can’t get enough of his God givin gift check out Blind and Frozen it Night wish and Dan singing Nemo together love ya
