New subscriber.. cold chisel are phenomenal band. Jimmy Barnes (the singer not playing guitar) has probably one of the best voices in world. Anything by cold chisel and Jimmy’s solo career is great. Jimmy singing “a change is gonna come” is sublime Jimmy also has duets with aussie band INXS, and great aussie singer John Farnham as well as Tina Turner Cold chisel are mostly considered best Australian band ahead of AC/DC and INXS All cold chisel songs are epic
You nailed it when you said "There's only gonna ever be one Rush". Truer statement has never been said. I've seen them 7 times, but I think my favourite was my last time, on the Time Machine Tour in 2011, because I was able to take my daughter who was 22 at the time. She was blown away by them & the show they put on. If you're doing Xanadu next, you're in for a treat. Pick the 1981 Exit Stage Left live version.
I think sometimes things are relative. I always wanted to see led zeppelin, jimmy Hendrix the power puff girls lol , to name a few. I know the feeling, only in this case, I was the fortunate , to see rush live many times over the years, I like to say, it was like visiting your best friends, you haven't seen for a quite a time, yet they don't know who you are! lol. definitely Xanadu exit stage left concert, certainly going to fry! some eggs for you. I’m 57 years old, the physical and mental abuse I went thru as a young child was harsh. I’ve never gotten over it! I was beaten with 3 grommet wide belts, measuring yard sticks by the 10’s of dozens. Made to bite on bar soap, kneeled in the corner of two walls, all day long, to the point at my Knees were bruised and bleeding! I’ve tried to forgive my Mom. She won’t accept any responsibility for what she did to me! NF and this song “Mansion” speaks to my soul! I’ve built the mental walls (rooms), some of which, no one gets to enter! I throw up mental “ walls” ( rooms) to protect myself from that! When the people that are supposed to love you (your parents), are the monsters, how do you recover from that? NF put a lyric to my never ending pain!

It is a compilation video, all mashed together, of the many different videos of Rush playing that song, from 1977, to 1984, to 1988, and in 1996.
