Great video! The lighting on the Lyriq really is nicely done. We have a 2024 Lyriq Sport 3 AWD and just wanted to add a few cool lighting items you missed in your review. There is an illuminated Cadillac emblem on the back of the display screen you can see from outside the car that comes on when you unlock it. The side mirrors have LED puddle lamps that come on at night to illuminate the ground which is nice. Also each door has its own LED puddle light on the bottom that comes on when you open the door for even more light. One kinda cool feature I haven't seen in other cars is that the LED lighting in the door pockets and front storage area will turn to white light when you place your hand in them so it is better illuminated if you are looking for something in them. Then it will change back to the ambient color when it stops sensing motion. There are also LED lights in the interior door handle pull area. Our Lyriq also has the dealer installed pathway lighting option that projects a cool modern stylized interpretation of half the Cadillac emblem onto the ground alongside the vehicle....looks nifty.

Great review of the lighting features - probably my favorite thing about my Lyriq. One cool thing you missed is that if you reach into the door pockets for water bottles or other things, the colored ambient lights change to white so you can find what you’re looking for.
The review I’ve been waiting to see. With so many brands now adopting thin vertical LED lights, still nothing else quite looks like a Cadillac! What a gorgeous design.
The lights aren't glitchy.. I have a 2024 Cadillac Xt6 sport with advanced lighting package (three lenses).. it will not give you the welcome lighting if you are going in and out of the car.. only when you have been away for a while. If you run in and out of a store the front lights won't even illuminate.. also if you like the resolution on the 360 camera.. it's much much better on the xt6 and I believe in xt5 for that matter. I drove a lyriq, super quiet but I don't think I could live with that resolution compared to what I have..
Always neat review! I like so much when you review Cadillac Mason… LYRIQ is the epitome of Cadillac’s luxury, its Sport trim has a fancier grille illumination.. 👍🏻
Definitely one of the best animations of any vehicle. In typical North American fashion they remove the amber rear signals and make all the lights at the back the brake and signal. They really need to stop being in the 90s and just use amber signals.
Beautiful car. My wife saw one the other day and remarked at how much better it looks in person. Just a quick comment, I don't understand why they used an "On" button in this car when the rest of the Ultium platform cars don't use one. Be that as it may, it is stunning inside and out.
If this stays in production longer than 3 years, I'll be surprised. Tesla is the only manufacturer so far with a reputable battery-management system. Interesting review though, thx.
