Had my Night Ridge stolen out of my truck at the state game area last week and ordering another one asap. Bow stolen right in the middle of my archery season 😂 yall make such a great bow everyone wants mine.

Would y’all consider the omp ascent capable of killing a deer? Never shot a recurve and don’t know if I’ll like it. So looking to spend less money at first.

Hey Travis, the short answer is yes. Another thing to note, make sure you check with your state's wildlife agency as some have minimum poundage requirements on recurve bows. e.g. PA has a minimum of 35lbs. However, we'd recommend going to your local archery shop and testing out a recurve. If it's something you enjoy - we'd absolutely recommend getting the Ascent as a good entry level recurve. From there as you gain in skill and experience - you could always upgrade to another hunting specific recurve. @@OctoberMountainProducts thank you for taking the time to respond, I hunt primarily out of Virginia which is 30 pounds, but do have some opportunities in pa as well so should be good to go!
