Not in a million years would i have expected you to cover this anime, i am quite litteraly speechless....

This Netflix-locked show is totally flying under everyone's radar and it sucks that it's handled like that. (I have Netflix, I just meant there was less people to share the show with because they doesn't bother to sub or upload weekly until the dub is done. Now that it blew up like I wanted and I got my friends to watch it, all's well that ends well.)

An absolutely beautiful show, though I feel it could've been expanded on more. I really hope for a sequel, manga, or some other way to get more of the world, because I love the characters and the world created, and I want to see more of it. I also want even more music like we got already, because the songs are totally gorgeous.

The show is slept on slept on so hard, a friend recommended it to me and omg... I fell in love with it so hard. Been telling all my friends that watch anime to check it out, haha

I pretty much enjoyed everything about this show besides the pacing. The final episode feels like they were planning on having 13 episodes then someone said “hey actually I want it to be 12” so they had to shove way too much plot in it.

This feels so nostalgic, now. It sends my mind back to the near-beginning of the pandemic. Everything was so calm due to being "alone" every day.

This is one of those shows where the sole problem is that it's 12 episodes long The struggle to cram so much worldbuilding, cutesy stuff, and character arcing in just under 6 hours is very apparent.

This sounds sooo good!!! And i love how the pixelart animation matches up with the beat of the song. That's detail i can admire!

I had a dream where after a several-season run, there was an ending sequence where a organ version of “Night Running” was playing over Michiru and Nazuna’s wedding. And Shirou was officiating it. Then, a flash forward where Michiru just gave birth (shapeshifting possible explanation), and Nazuna held her and her wife’s new daughter Lion King-style. And the baby was a purple fox with a raccoon-like mask.

I know this’ll be an unpopular opinion here but, the show was just sorta “okay”, not a ridiculous masterpiece (not that many are claiming it is). I absolutely love the animation, core idea, world setting and such, but the show feels EXTREMELY rushed with it’s storyline and the ending just sorta made me go “what?”. The show would have benefitted massively from being 20-24 episodes. Hope it gets a second season sort of, there’s a decent amount of stuff to build off of and I feel as though it could be expanded upon. If there is a second season, I hope it has more episodes than 12.

reading through the comments, I feel like not enough people appreciate just how much branflakes is squeezing the nes of all it's juices and mopping up every last drop. Like, using the vrc6 channels as the vocals, but switching between duty settings depending on the note to make it sound like the timbre of actual vocals rather than a consistent and unchanging, but flat and lifeless sound. Or like at 2:15, the way he layers two different pulse channels to give the vocals a light echo, making the whole song sound more full and complete and godammit I just love this remix so much

love this anime to bits, its music is so good! I mainly watched it cause I knew it was by the same studio (studio Trigger) that did Little witch academia and I loved LWA, so overall this was a good choice by my part

This is the only anime where I stayed and not skipped to watch the intro and outro just because I want to listen to the awesome jam =w=

The show sadly have a messed up pacing and a shallow undeveloped story. It’s like a 24 episode anime crammed into 12(not exact number, for I have forgot about it) and missing half the presentation. I was so hyped before the release of the last part, then I walk away like ‘is that all you can deliver TRIGGER? What a forgettable anime.’ I am not gonna say ‘aT LEaSt tHe mUSiC iS GoOd’ bc it is like the only nice thing people would say to Sonic Forces(and generally bad game and anime) lol, but you understand that’s the reason why I am here.

This just makes me want some kind of nes/SNES styled BNA game, cool rendition btw
