Dear friend. You are a master. I painted this beautiful picture for the mother in law from my daughter. She is aweful sick from cancer and it looks like she...well you know. I made it on a great canvas exactly like you dis at the tutorial. One hour ago my son in law krijgt of to her. You can't imagine how gratefull she was and she cried. It was a surprise for her. I sent her pictures from your work. She wishes you the best of the world. I am a lucky man finding here your majestic lessons. Thank you very much. You are welcome! It's really not difficult, you just have to be careful when blending the different colours... I move the brush left and right, then up and down a bit, then left and right again, and so on until it's nice. Good luck with your painting! And remember, everyone started somewhere!

There's really no trick, I just drag the brush left and right, moving it up and down slowly, so the colours blend nicely. Love! Good pix. I can't for the life of me get the star splatter down. .and not even with tooth brush. Either too much clumps or not enough and all goes on my fingers. I'm gonna try a fan brush...thank you!

You are welcome! A winter landscape video is planned, but it's a bit more complex. I'll look for an easier reference, if I find one, I'll make a simple winter video, okay? By the way, I do brushstrokes too, I just try to make them disappear with the next move. I just keep stroking the canvas at the end until they disappear. With the brush, of course, after I've blended the colours.

hi sir what type of acrylic did you use? and what type of paper is that? cause im having struggle on the color it leaves white spots even i put more layers of color

The brand of the paint is Primo or Crelando (the latter can be bought in Lidl.) But any cheaper acrylic will do. :)

Silly question but how do you keep the canvas so still without moving a Llover the place when you’re moving your brush like that I still can’t figure it out is it on an easel is it on the table please tell me

It's not a silly question, it's just a simple question, no problem. It is not obvious how to solve it, at least you dared to ask. :) The canvas is on the table, and to keep it from moving, I always tape the sides with masking tape.

No, but if you need to, or if you use too thick a paint, you can wet the brush a little.

It can work, just make sure you use as little water as possible, because paper reacts differently to water than canvas. It can be wavy if you use a lot of water.

I don't use a toothbrush, just a flat bristle brush. With that I splash white paint diluted with a minimum of water onto the canvas.

If you don't use too much water, you can paint on paper, of course. It's just that too much water can make the paper soggy, so it's worth being careful.
