So very awesome. What age do you separate the male from females and then separate males?

In all my spawns I noticed there isn't a specific time where they need to be separated but instead I watch them and start to remove and jar the most aggressive ones (which can end up being females sometimes too). Sometimes I've seen people separate a betta as young as 2 month old because of its aggression. Some males are super mellow and can be left with sibling females and other mellow males for many months. Sometimes people will also seperate their bettas a bit sooner when it comes to longer finned types because jarring helps with fin development.

Hi. I’m looking into keeping a single betta. What is the smallest tank size you’ve kept them happy in? I have very limited depth space, width and height are less of an issue and you’re tanks seem to have a small width (depth) size. Thx.

honestly anything 3-5 gallons will be fine focus of proper heat(80-82) degrees and regular partial water changes with dechlorinated water and your betta will be happy
