I agree with your statement at 9:45 JM. I am from Bohol, Ivisited the Mist restaurant last March, and while the ambiance was pleasant, the food did not live up to the hype. Many people overrate this place, making it seem superb, but in reality, it only deserves an average rating.

What i really like to u is u r so honest in reviewing esp when it comes to food. Still saying sorry for saying honest reviews. Very humble person.

Bohol Bee Farm ice cream is indeed worth the price The food of Bohol in general is actually expensive. I’ve been there many times but I cannot forget my first time there back in 2010. Half fried chicken, an egg drop soup and a cup of rice, I paid almost 700 pesos. Bohol is one of the expensive places in the Philippines. In terms of tricycle fare, Pampanga has the most expensive fare, foreign rate. Enjoy and more vlogs, JM.

I will always remember Alona beach the way it was 15 years ago. Magnificent diving during the day and a cold beer and great food in the quiet of the evening. There were a few small but great restaurants. Not like this, reminiscent of Boracay before they got their act together. Nakakatamad ng bumalik, which seems to be a recurring theme in local destinations. I'm just glad I saw these places before.

I appreciate you for being truthfully you. Ikaw ang go-to travel vlogger ko dahil ang raw and realistic ng contents mo, hate to compare pero di ka tulad ng iba na hindi ma-reach ng ibang viewers ang travel budget hehe ❤️‍🔥✨️

I been to panglao many times i enjoy our stay in hennan resort mahal but worth it lalo na ang food nila but other restaurant out side yes its so mahal and the transportation but all in all we enjoy bohol parin naman

Nakatipid kami sa pamasahe kasi yung mga habal habal ang sinakyan namin.. In fairness, mas masaya at exciting.. God bless sa iyo and more power..

Ngayon ko lang npanood. Laki na pinagbago ng Bohol. Dati sobrang lowkey ng lugar, bait ng mga tao my favorite Ph province, tahimik, mura lang... pero expensive na nga daw lahat dahil dumami na turista. sana they can manage overcrowding and preserve the tourist spots. Sayang naman..❤

I agree that Myst is not worth it if you want good food. It was ok for me too. The place is nice to take a pic of. Toto Peppino is worth trying. Their pizzas were good.

Tama pala decision ko sa Henann kami nag dinner at least dun worth it. Yung ice cream di kami sa bee farm bumili dun sa may crepes super expensive grabeh. Soft ice cream 160 parang sa 7 eleven 25 pesos lang dati pero sympre mas masarap Yung Anjan sa panglao pero super expensive parin pati yu g crepes umabot kami less than 700 pesos for 2 crepes and one mango ice cream lang.

I visited Bohol in June 2023 and I would have preferred the presenter of this video talked in English because all foreigners as well as most Philippino’s understand English and if the talk is only in Phillipines language only the Philippino’s can understand and I’m from Australia. But having said that I like this video ! The video is well filmed and very clear. I was charged 1500 Pesos for a crab preparation when I had dinner close to the beach and maybe it was in Boracay. But I enjoyed Bohol and Boracay both.

Same reaction whe we went there in 2019. Nag cebu - bohol and back to cebu kami Mahal talaga ang bilihin sa panglao kahit bottle water at pagkain sa carenderia. Shookt din kami 😂😂. But we also enjoyed our stay there kasi mababait mga locals. 💜

AS it was reviewed po before on Panglao island everything is very expensive on tourism..... kya po nabigyan ng attention ng concerned authority..not sure po kung ano ang resolution po nila... anyhow thank you po for showcasing bohol with panglao island.... its beautiful po talaga ang bohol since I saw it 20 years ago po... still countryside pa din siya and beautiful...

Hi JM.... We have been to Bohol. Last May and on our first day we stayed along Dumaluan area..... 2nd day we stayed there in Alona.... I liked the Dumaluan area more rather than Alona because in Dumaluan it is quite laid back and not too noisy unlike in Alona, however if you are a party goer person you would love to stay more in Alona..... You should have tried staying in South Palms. Love watching your vlogs

I agree with you JM. When I went to Panglao, hindi din ako nakapag swimming sa beach nila dahil sa mga tables and chairs at sa mga tao na halos nasa mismong dagat na 😢 sana medyo maayos nila yun tho I also understand that it’s for the business.

Agree, MJ! Was there last July mahal talaga lahat. Like sa food mas mahal nang 200-300 bill mo compared sa ibang destination. Tas totoo yung tricycle! I even paid 400 pesos from Alona beach to South Palms RT. XD Grabe taga sa Bohol. At buti wala na yung mga tindahan sa Virgin Island, luminis tuloy tignan. Isa pang taga din yun :D

Di ba puede magtanong muna kung magkano bago mag avail? Yung food certainly nasa menu ang price, so there should be no surprise. I agree though that in Panglao, people take advantage of the tourists, only if you allow them to.

I was more impressed with Bohol Bee farm, I have a chat with the daughters owner of the Bee farm she was very gracious and very accommodating the ice cream is so worth it and the food even all the servers in the restaurant and the gift shop were so nice.

Same sentiments with Panglao... over pricing for the trike fare... min of 100 one way talaga.. hope the local gov't can also regularize this

Yes same sa two seasons ng boracay. Lahat yata ng influencers sinasabi masarap. Pero for me, its nah/no/nada not worth it. Pero okay padin i-try pero dina babalik 😢😅😊

You are right I was at Mist restaurant for lunch in August I was disappointed, there was too many flies we order the seafood platter it was pricey talagang pang tourist the place was nice but that's about it.

True!pang insta lang yan the mist. Sana maimprove yung quality ng food nila kc sayang yun ambiance. We didn't enjoy the food and yung mga trike grabe ang mahal sumingil db?🤣 ang naenjoy ko lang ng todo e yung ice cream from bee farm as in inaraw araw ko sya 😂

We had the same reaction when we went there last year. Our top comment was “Mas mura pa sa Bora ah, bat ganun. 😅” and last year was the height of that 40k+ issue yata sa floating island market nila. It was our first time in Bohol but will definitely go back to Bora na lang ulit. Share lang 😬

Db dyan yung napabalita dati na overpriced mga foods. Sa may bndang Bohol. Feeling ko nanamantala tlga sila kaya tuloy mga turista mas gusto sa Thailand kasi mas sobrang mura dun.

Naku wag naman sana maging cluttered ang Alona Beach. Pag nag Bo-bohol kmi we always opt for Dumaluan Beach para hindi ma-tao.

Bohol talaga is an expensive travel compared sa iba hehe pero I have to agree “The Mist” is overhyped as in but the place is really pretty but the price I dont know.

Very nice and honest vlog. Mist is a nice restaurant the ambiance is superb, I’m not a foodie person but will try this restaurant next time. I heard before that the food in Bohol is a little bit pricey. Sad to see that they allow those extensions of the restaurant on the beach that’s what happened to boracay before I hope panglao is not going to be like the boracay before..Thanks again .

Dahil sa sobra expensive ng tricycle there nag launch sila ng parang app same as grab but tricycle, def mas low. I think starts at 40 pesos. I love bohol but in Modala and Bellevue Part if I’m going to stay. Modala is one of the newest and grabe super Ganda sa part na yun beside Moadto Mall. Sana doon ka nalang nag night walk hehe

YOU SHOULD GO TO DUMALUAN BEACH PANGLAO BOHOL,,ITS AN AFFORDABLE BEACH WITH NO REGRETS

I think tama lang yung price sa place,ganun din naman dun sa aria sa boracay na pinopromote mo ang mahal at ang alat naman ng carbonara at ibang foods nila kaya hindi worth it saka mahal din yung etrike dun 200-250 din isang sakay.
