(4K) First snow storm of 2024, Southern Ontario, January 12, 2024
Heavy snowfall blizzard with a total accumulation of about 20cm.
The snowstorm started at 6PM. I went out for this walk at about 9:30 PM. Strong wind!

I would love to be in a nice warm house sitting in front of a large window watching it snow. A nice cup of hot coffee or maybe a fine whisky. And a crackling fireplace for ambiance. I have never experienced that setting. Thanks for sharing.

Snow is beautiful as long as we don't have to maneuver or drive in it. It's rare in the Willamette Valley of western Oregon, so we hunker down and stay home. I love the muffled quiet of a snowy landscape.❄️

Right, I had no problem filming. Actually it wasn't too cold when the snowstorm hits. The couple days after snowstorm is usually colder. The tempreture will drop to -18 celsius next week.

It means you have not lived long enough with Canadian winter. I am an immigrant to Canada. I did take a walk like this at 2 am when I first saw the snow. By my third year I hate winter. I can't wait to move to hot countries when I have enough money.

This makes me think back to long walks with my dogs in the snow. When everyone else is sleeping and the world is quiet we would bundle up and wander the town. They’re both gone now but the memories remain

Absolutely beautiful ! I recall doing exactly the same thing way back in the day; however, where I live in southeastern Penn., it doesn't snow anywhere like it used to.....but it's nice to see that large snowstorms still occur in other places not all that far from me....
