Hello my friends! Is it really safe to walk at night in Manila's most dangerous neighborhood, Tondo?
Tondo is a densely populated district located in the city of Manila, known for its poverty and high crime rates. It is one of the most dangerous districts in Metro Manila, with a reputation for drug trafficking, gang violence, robbery and petty crimes.
In this video, I will walk around this area and show you what is happening there, and also talk about how dangerous it can be in Tondo, in other areas of Manila and other parts of our world in general.

I have walked around in Tondo at night without incident, and even in parts that.are slummier than where you went. You won't notice it, but the people around you size you up and if you look street-smart they won't touch you.

Jeez. It's dangerous out there and may cost your life. Don't go to Tondo at night especially during 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

@@AndikaPermana-id4tt Riots. Street fights with homemade firearms, pillboxes, molotov cocktails, bladed weapons, arrows and so on. Mugging. All forms of violence. That's Tondo for you at night till dawn. If you're in the wrong place at the wrong time, you might come across a drug-crazed dude running amok with a katana or jungle bolo.

Poor Tondo is a lot safer than any major American city street. The only thing you think it's dangerous is the people and its surroundings aren't appealing, having un-western standards. Besides, it looks cleaner than downtown SF with no scattered human feces around. Surprisingly, even ultra-wealthy Tokyo is also filled with old homeless people on its streets, sleeping inside cardboard boxes even during its coldest winter.

@@alexmur02 unfortunately I’m no longer in Manila, but I did get the chance to visit Tondo last Tuesday while visiting. The people are friendly and kind from my experience. Definitely an eye opening experience haha

Now you see in your own eyes and witness personaly how safe walking all over manila district like in tondo holding your celfone camera while walking and do your blogging i dare you try to do it with other countries i dont know what happens next to you... Erase you mind and stop spreading here your blog about what is tondo.... In new york try to walk that same hour those side streets who are crimes are very high

Yes, as I said, it all depends on your caution, and maybe on your luck as well. It doesn't matter where you are, my friend, in New York, in Manila or in any other city of our world... One day it may be safe for you, and another day you will not be so lucky. I think you just didn't understand the main point of my video. But anyway, good luck to you and take care of yourself.
