I love seeing the Kvatch Gladiator suggestion. I used it on my one bar Arcanist to help push execute on an Earthen Root Enclave trifecta because those execute phases on the first and last boss are no joke.
Thx a lot for the NB build. Glad to see the old classes also get their builds updated in video form. To me it feels like only Arcanists get all the love lately 😢.
Love all the alternate suggestions! Kind of tired of those other tubers with their totally impractical doesn't really work in actual content ~140k builds.
yep light armor is obsolete, hybrid has lost any meaning to magic vs stam dmg might as well rename all ability's to just damage remove magic/stamina names
I watched both of those parses for stam. How is it they were able to change skills mid fight? Both parses change what there skills are after the initial burst at beginning of the fight. I would love to see more realistic parses that can be done on console. If you have recommendations I would love to see those. I always enjoy your content and hope to see more!
Sadly even though blade CAN output damage. You won't get picked for most groups. Yeah, you can always make your own, but still. Arcanist is just too easy and does too much damage right now. The fact that most groups run full arcanists or at least 6 is dumb. Hopefully the other classes will get a glow up to match the Arcanist, as I feel a nerf isn't the way either.
Yeah really they’d just need to up the AoE dmg potential of some of the ground aoes by a lot for other classes and it would buff them for pve without messing with pvp
@@skinnycheeks I feel like upping the dmg of neutral abilities won't help, since that's just a blanket buff, and in terms of blade, the only one would be path. In my opinion going back to class identity is the best thing that they can do. Nightblade is clearly the thief/assassin class, which is known for outputting the most damage most of the time*. The problem is, pvp is only balanced by a blanket ruleset that does not solve problems at all, and puts blades specifically in a spot where, if they are strong in pve, they are a nightmare in pvp, and if they are strong in pvp, they are mid at best in pve. The Battle Spirit passaive needs rethinking, and some other things need to be considered for it to work once more. Having Surprise Attack always crit on flank, like it was for like... 1 pts cycle, would be great in order to have stamina based setups not run concealed weapon, which not only feels awkward, but its UGH from game design perspective. Once pvp and pve are correctly balanced, blade can be balanced to have pve performance once more. I would love for some of the passives to change as well, maybe make it so blades do more damage direct based on target's maximum health, or something linked to direct damage. And even finally find a way to make invis worth CASTING in pve, idk. As of now, this class is sadly 'copeblade'.
Meta teams have always chosen the top dps for each patch as filler. This year, the same year new class was released, its hot topic. Just like always the next year will change that.
One question i have: I am new into the game and dont know what class to play. I maybe want to go for NB (maybe bow using) and meele (i want to switch between if possible) But its kinda sad all skills are only on bow for range skill.... And what skill points? Magicka or stamina? What u recommend for leveling to 50 and also using it for pvp? I dont like switch builds, since i know the binds What u say? Ty a lot
God I am so out of date. I haven’t played in 4 years and just came back to the game. Still rocking ilambris mask, Mothers Sorrow, & Perfected False Gods gear.
You may have but I haven't seen any new builds for DK😢 cuz this is my preferred class I'm really having a problem with l.a. loss on the Arcanist it feels really weird. I probably butchered that name sorry. Anyway I would love to see a new update for the Dragon Knight I prefer magic but stam is good too. No pressure😂
Thank you for the video. Top notch as always. What would be the flex spots with bow / bow setup? Also if shadow click is present which potions do u use?
Amazing video. With the upcoming changes to Concealed Weapon, would Leeching Strikes be a good replacement to sustain health longer for a bow/bow build? Also do you have an ideal rotation here?
Thanks. You’ll want siphoning not leeching. That changed too. And you won’t need concealed anymore, no. I don’t really have a set rotation. Just keep the dots up. Try and have them all running while Incap is going so you are only spamming. Fire your bow procs as soon as possible each time.
I did call you on aegis caller on a previous video. But personally I think Aegis > Nirn, cause the tank won't just sit there and wait to see 2-3 nirn procs AND THEN ONLY MOVE.
Heya skinny, thanks for all the great guide and explanation. I have a small question. Is velothi a good mythic on nightblade? From lots of parse it does seem like most of our dmg comes from light attack and it does seem like it would gimp it. Also the pen wouldnt help in a trial group setting would it since we could easily hit pen cap 😊?
Depends on the situation and the fight. It is definitely good for some though. Remember too, light attacks are only single target and pen levels are not always kept up perfectly in groups!
off-hands are heavily reduced amounts compared to the main hand. the dual wield expert lifts that up a little but it is still far lower value than the main hand.
I haven't played in a couple years, so if i'm running ranged magblade am I wearing medium armor now or still light? All this hybrid stuff is confusing me.
@@skinnycheeks ah, that makes sense, thank you. I wish it were easier to see its area. Really love the skill loadouts and the variety of weapon setups you showed - dual wield front bar with bow back bar has been a fun one for me
there is a double staff setup in there. they made inferno front bar really weird for a lot of classes though so that's why you don't see it as much. plus sustain is bad
@@skinnycheeks is that because they just boost dot-damage now? im just wondering, if thats the case then i guess, you would just use them on dot-heavy builds right?
If i have to use killer's blade and concealed weapon in ranged setup, i'd rather go melee, because why using bow if you still have to get into melee range?
Hello, I am doing your STAM NB DW/2H build, is there any way you can make a leveling CP, I just do not know where to put my CPs like in what order? Thanks, great content. I did see the picture of the CP thats in your written page but it does not explain what to put first like as in leveling CP before CP 160/300.
Well this current patch you drop concealed anyways cause they changed it. So either way you have room for another dot. Check out my latest vid, it has a stamblade setup in it that works either way either rapid strikes or surprise attack
Whats the Single Bar Stamina setup (for dual wield, please?) I like the Nirn + Aegis Caller set up - but it'd be good to know what skills to use with it too, please?
sweet! just made my first NB, played the game for years on console then moved to pc. havent played in a few years loving all the changes ZOS have made. Think you will be doing anything for Stam Necro anytime soon?
Sorry if it was asked already (I know you must be super busy with the new patch) but for the magicka setup with swallow soul, do I go bow or light staff?
Yeah definitely. Whatever race you like but Dark Elf, Orc, and Khajiit are probably the most popular for stam. Followed closely by Imperial, Wood Elf, and Redguard.
Returning player here: how effective would the bow magblade be in the current patch? I guess Concealed weapon can be swapped out for something else since the change?
they are pretty much identical for damage. high elf will sustain your stamina off-resource a little better and dark elf will be flexible to swap to stamina based and continue to get the highest results there too.
Did they put a timer back on for us xbox plebs or do we still need to use perma effects? Jesus 🙄 As always thank you sir cheeks. Really feels like only 4 classes are being used these days (all arcs besides zens/ec/mk). Hopefuly they give NB snd others some unique utility soon.
u can get without kilt 51 % Crit Hit, with dw double daggers buffed maybe 69 % so if u use kilt too, u buff more crit in. Light Armor isn't bad for ress reg, but u have less crit dmg, medium give u crit dmg, light crit hit.
Hi thanks for the builds . Your running Velothi Amulet which reduces your light/heavy attacks by 99% ,but on your front bar you have grim focus or the other morph which relies on light/heavy attacks and is rapid strikes consecutive light attacks , can you explain for me pls thanks for your help. Im running the Belharzas band .
Grim focus requires light attacks to activate, yes. You still want to use them even if their dmg is reduced. This is because they also proc your enchantments and generate ultimate. So just because you use Velothi doesn’t mean you stop light attack weaving. Rapid strikes are not light attacks, no. It is a separate ability.
