I've never found a song that I personally relate to, my father left me before I was even born. But my mom's friend helped her through the pregnancy and was there for my birth, he then helped raised me while raising me as his own daughter. That man will forever be my father even if he's not my biological one, but he will become my legal one when I turn 18.

This song actually reminds me of my life. My Mom left me for about 8 months to go to Arizona so she would be able to "fix herself" she only visited me once and now I live with her, my dad and my step-mom were the people that took care of me while my mom was gone but now, my mom doesn't really seem to care about me since she got a new boyfriend, and he had a daughter. My mom promised me that she would never have another child, (she got pregnant) but here we are now, I have seven siblings and I don't live with my Dad anymore...sorry for all of the information, I just wanted to say something..heh..

I wish it was i who was dead not my twin as my real father would verbally abused me and attempted to starve me along with screaming at me that it was all my fault. Im the female twin, he wished i was the male (my brother conner, i never met him)
