I honestly don't think Wonderland is a fairy tale. Alice in wonderland is a fairy tale. But I think what she is trying to say is that she doesn't want your typical fairy tale ending. Wonderland is a land of wonders and she would rather go there than in a palace. Or marry the mad hatter than a prince.
