I just noticed something. Kurt said a few episodes later that Gambit’s biggest tell was modesty. That was this scene right here he was referring to. The king of cards himself, and Kurt was able to call Cajun’s bluff about the whole scoundrel thing.
fr, just a shame it was for nothing. Like Kurt said, Gambit was ready to move on from Rogue’s lapse in judgment, but Rogue couldn’t until it was too late.
