Remember his a devoted catholic.. his Calm, Compassionate, Jolly and always optimistic but in the same time his also cunning, swift, aggressive and can always be radically violent.
@@doctorslayer2106 Just like the Knight Templars and other catholic orders during crusades At war fanatics bloodthirsty daring At peace just a brotherhood
According to Mephisto Kurt is extremely important. Enough the ol' devil was willing to do him favors in exchange for Kurt just opting to sit out the day of Judgement.
Since we're dealing with Bastion, he may be a bamf away from doing his best Ace impression trying to save Rogue. Keep on your toes and we'll see how close to the comics we get.
I love this adaptation showed different family moments to cherish aside romance. Kurt and Rogue are my favorite siblings. He explained how meeting his long lost sister saved him as she taught him to let go of the past and accepted him with open arms to be family. That sentence reminded me a bit how they rejected Mystique and walked together with arms across each other in the ending of X-Men evolution
Rogue didn't reject Mystique in 92. She just told Nightcrawler let her go that's how she is. So I think it will be weird if suddenly she will hate her. She didn't before and she actually cried at one point when Mystique chose to stay in hiding
Kurt is possibly one of the greatest comic book examples of “Don’t let others define you” He has every reason to be bitter against the world and play the victim, literally since birth, but never does and always tries to be selfless and make the world a better place. Always ask yourself: What would Nightcrawler do?
It's simply not possible to "not let others define you". We have our own inborn personalities, or at the very least natural tendencies... but how those manifest and who we become is contingent upon our rearing. The conditions of our childhoods. Our parents, our families, our friends, our communities. Their beliefs shape ours. It's cruel to hold people to a standard basically impossible for them to achieve, and then to judge them for their failure. What's kind, is engineering a society with values that promote compassion. Not lionizing the few who rise out of cruelty as saints, and damning the rest.
@@DreamersOfRealityyou’re overthinking, what he does is simply helps out others and not let the ones who hurt him bring him down. He give them compassion instead of hurt, indeed over anger Yes our childhood is shaped by other people but we don’t need to define ourselves because of it
He will be as gambit stays dead ( temporary perhaps) Kurt will be in the main lineup adding Sunspot as Roberto will soon mastered his abilities he will be a certified to be a X-MEN member.
Honestly Jean's in a weird predicament, she was cloned, so Madelyne has her DNA, but not only that, Jean and Madelyne share a heavy psychic link that they both each others memories, "Madelyne's blood" is such a heavy thing, because Madelyne has Jean's blood and it just gets complicated. But it's not like Jean didn't act like a nagging mother this episode, forcing Cable to wear a seatbelt and nagging him to get off the plane, even though she isn't his birth mother, she's basically his mom too in a way.
Nightcrawler gonna have to be the on site counselor for the X-men. Professor X should have had one already. These people going through some trauma on the daily.
I like to think Mystique gave Kurt up because she knew the life she led was not conductive to rearing a child. On another note, I think Madelyn's consciousness merged with Jean's thereby Jean becoming Nathan's mother in all categories.
Kurt is the best when it comes for words of wisdom. Some ppl may have see him as a mutant/demon but in Kurt has a good heart and human soul no matter what they say.
Yeeeah, I ain't a fan of his looks. It's scary. But God looks at the soul more. I like his personality & that fact he's a actual Christian & wants to share his faith with his friends without being a Bible thumper.
@@TheWarmachine375i know it's a long shot but i hope madelyne will return and jean will maybe hug her, or call her sister to her face, maybe all the summers in one place, cable having two moms
I mean, the Deadpool films are a whole different basket. They're more satire/comedy, with minor dramatic elements. Not fair to compare the two, apples and oranges, honestly.
Very true words. Relatives are your blood. Your family are the ones you’ve shared the good, the bad and the best times with. Although, knowing about Amanda makes this funny.
"a wise man once told me, family don't end in blood, but it doesn't start there either. Family cares about you, not what you can do for them. Family's there, through the good, the bad, all of it. They got your back. Even when it hurts."
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 well its never revealed who his father really was, they probably thought the azazle storyline was a little too dark for a kids cartoon due to him being the devil
@@uncannydcmarvelous5732 oh my bad, but they could introduce that element, like the genosha episode happened in the comics in 2006, and they had that in x-men 97
He's part of her storyline. He's her family, the one she needs now. Based on the threads I almost couldn't tell but now I can , you didn't like the way he's written in the comics. Be thankful Kurt is better written here than the comics. Characters like Kurt provide essential balance stays grounded and knows what's up. It looks like you don't got that in your life do you?@romy_edits
So nice. I like to think that Rogue and Storm have a strong sisterly relationship. In TAS they spend alot of quality time together shopping, riding horses. I feel like her and Ororo are more Sister like than Jean and Storm in the show. In the comics however her and Jean are obviously close. But I guess because Jean was the only female X-men when Storm showed up she has her in a higher regard.
Edit: That's not what they went with, but this was a fun idea while it lasted I know this would be a huge departure from the comics, and many of you hardcore x-men fans probably won't like it, but what if Bastion is Graydon? Think about it. All this focus on Rogue, Sinister implying that Bastion is someone we know, and the prime sentinels power set is similar to Rogue's who got hers from Ms Marvel. And yes, there is the fact Bastion is going to enslave mutants rather than eliminate them, but it could be Graydon started thinking differently after the friends of humanity betrayed him. So the prime sentinels could be his revenge for both humanity and mutants for rejecting him. Turning the former into his toys and the latter into his slaves.
I respect this show so much. After years and years of making the X-Men, the most pathetic team, they finally fixed all of them, including Nightcrawler. *Especially* Nightcrawler! Don’t even get me started on what they were doing with him in the comics
I used to tape my fingers together so I could pretend to be Kurt as a kid. Now I can keep them like that for hours (I never was allowed to watch Star Trek so I didn’t know about Spock)
I’m honestly glad they’re exploring all of jeans psionic traits: telepathy, empathy, psychometry etc. while I would’ve loved to see more of her telekinetic side this representation is well enough for her character
They really did Jean dirty by going through with the clone storyline here. It was unnecessary as she never died as Phoenix. They could have made her Nathan’s real mom and we still would have gotten Cable. I guess Cyclops and Jean aren’t meant to have a happy marriage in any iteration of X-Men.
@@jordanloux3883 yeah I hear ya… a wholesome family doesn’t make for compelling viewing for a lot of people. But for me personally, I’d love like a Summers family series with Cyclops, Jean Grey, Cable and Rachel.
i kinda wish there was a what if comic of what it would’ve been like if kurt was actually raised by mystique. how differently would he have turned out? would be be a villain? anti-hero? and how would mystique be different if she raised him? and would he have grown up along side rogue as well? and then they both join the brotherhood? i need that to be a real comic now lol. i gotta know
