Thank you for your video. I also switched my ATACR to another rifle and installed the new 7x35 to the previous rifle. Then I had the problem since the Zero stop was locked in place and I could not lower my sights. I tried adjust the zero stop but it did not resolve the problem. As soon as I got home from the range with no idea what to do, I searched for and found your video. The problem has been resolved.
I enjoyed your video. For over torqeing anything, i call it Gorillaing it. Answer me this: mill spec or MOA .. What is a good Reticle? I saw that Christmas tree thing, way to busy even lighted.
Alpha6Five Hey Brother So I bought this ATACR 7X35X56 MRAD awhile ago I zeroed it but just last week I noticed it was off so I re zeroed it because it was off .04 low and .05 to right so I dialed it .04 Up and .05 Left of course after 5 shot group now it's dead on but question I have once I remove 2 screws to elevation cap do I loosten the 4 screws without removing them to clutch and turn to right till it stops which I think should be short travel since only .04 tenths I did'nt want to loosen till was sure because everything I found online was for new scope thanks this is Jaime
Jaime Rivera yes . (Respectfully I’m telling you this ), as I stated in the video, you take off your windage cap and/or your elevation cap by unloosing the ( cap screw/screws), once off you will unloosing the (4) turret screws so that you HAVE NO CLICKS whatsoever when you you move you turret to the stop position!! If you have clicks , then you moved off zero. DO NOT UNSCREW ALL THE WAY ! JUST ENOUGH TO TURN WITHOUT CLICKS!! With this being said, do it slowly and count the clicks just in case so you can recount them back to the start position. If no clicks. , then turn it to the zero stop and tighten back down . I highly recommend you double check your inch pounds just in case it’s updated . Also I don’t recommend using a zero stop on the windage , you will always adjust left and right depending on the wind , that’s just me though. I hoped this helped out !! Thank you for the sub bro 👍👍.
Jaime Rivera you will basically get your windage set , then take the knob of and set your “zero mark “ on the zero indicator of the scope body. Keep track of of how far way the turret knob is or how many marks you have underneath the turret knob . Basically count how many lines you have . The windage knob is easy to fix if it get out of zero.
