Senate Republicans block their own border security bill back in May which actually HAD bi-partisan support from Democrats! The bill included a variety of GOP demands. Nearly every GOP senator except one from Alaska voted against the bill. All because Donald Trump wanted to wield border chaos as a centerpiece of his campaign. He wanted to exploit the border when efforts to begin fixing the border could have been initiated RIGHT THEN! Trump also didn't want the bill to pass because it demonstrated that Democrats were indeed willing to get tough on immigration. So this is just a political game for those politicians whining about the border and then REFUSING to do anything to fix it.

I used to watch Lester quite a bit... Then life changes and I quit watching nightly news. Now that I am trying to get back into it, I feel that Lester's approach has become slanted. I feel he's lost his neutrality and is showing his bias. Why is that? Has neutral journalism, "just the facts, ma'am", truly gone the way of the dodo?
