I’m 72 and how wonderful it is for me to watch the segment of NBC News celebrating its 75th birthday! I grew up watching NBC News and although I’m now retired in Europe, I am blessed to be able to continue to watch it via You Tube. Thank you for 75 years of fair, honest reporting. I'm 78 and have watched NBC Television News all of my life. And, I am so elated to see that Lester Holt is a top tier journalist and an Outstanding Anchorperson. Mr. Holt continues to hold up the excellent standards of the NBC Network. Furthermore, being a Republican, I especially admire Mr. Holt's fair and unbiased reporting on political issues. Mr. Holt is always even handed and never takes sides. Kudos to you, Mr. Holt. BRAVO!

Unfortunately, it starts at the discrepancy in funding for schools and where the best resources for education go, then it extends to whom banks lend money and create opportunities. Then it continues into the policing of those communities. This story gives me hope that the country is making positive change, albeit one tiny paint stroke on a giant tapestry but then again The Sistine Chapel wasn't painted in a day.

Make sure you put your complaint in writing…always! Don’t worry that you might not see immediate results…it will be documented and will help one way or the other! Keep your hope and fairness alive…at least we all have that to support our efforts! There are no ‘instant fixes’ in this world…

As an African American and former student of journalism, i do not believe there is any such animal as objectivity. Even choosing what to cover and what not to cover, after all, is the result of subjective judgment. I agree, however, that news is no place for editorials and entertainment. And, to this day, there are still not enough Black faces in front of and behind the cameras in news.

And charging ridiculous rent to tenants and causing instability in the housing market. Corporate greed is the downfall of America. And of corporations themselves, cause once you take everyone's money, where are you going to get your money then? Tough luck for you, you shouldn't have been too greedy all those years ago.
