@@danielhoward4566 they live on tortillas. Food is scarce. My roommate had 13 siblings growing up in Guatemala. He had to walk miles every morning to get buckets of water from a stream to bring back to his mother so she could make tortillas. He said he was fat when he was a kid even though there are no pictures of him because they didn’t have a camera, but they literally don’t have anything in there. He would tell me stories when he did go to school for the first few years of his life, without shoes, and when he would be working in the mountains, sometimes they would break into someone’s house and steal food and go hide with his brothers and eat,

My sister in law (Colonel US Army, ret.) gave my brothers and I a great present. She tracked down 5 men who served with our dad in Vietnam and brought them together in the town where she and my brother live. The first day was just them and our families but the next day she had a surprise for everyone - a big barbecue at the local park where she had gathered about 500 local people and a small band and Honor Guard from the nearby college ROTC unit. It was an honor and pleasure to meet those guys and even better to see them honored the next day.
