Everyone deserves such loving, devoted, caring and supportive friends! They didn't ignore her disappearance and lost no time to report Tati missing. I also really like how they were all aware of her personal ethics and her moral code, and how they knew how her values were important to her. Tati might have come from far away but she had definitely found a new home among her Welsh friends, who have proven that distances play no role when people's hearts are open and caring. Rest in peace, beautiful Tati.
@@frankskoda-simmonsthat is the exact way our American police respond. By the time the police get around to believe the people reporting someone missing the case has pretty much gone cold. Some police departments say they need to be missing 48 hours and others wait much longer.

What a fantastic police force, I have to say I love the Welsh police, I've spent a lot of time in North Wales over my lifetime and I've always admired the helpful and kind police force I've come into contact with, what a repugnant individual this killer is inside and out, RIP Tati Rodgers and I'm so sorry this happened to you in our country.

Your place is so lucky to have this kind of police officer, in the Philippines our police are criminals and drug dealers! If you are part of poor people you can't get justice nor you are killed. There was no investigation like this , most of them are lazy

Codeoendant women always make themselves victims. Us women needcto stop depending on boyfriends, husbands etc to make us happy. We are not children, but many of us still act weak, helpless and codeoendant. This makes us WEAK.

The patience, thorough work, and diligence of their effort to bring this killer to justice is admirable. I wish we had less crime, less murder really, in the states. If so, detectives would have the time to investigate w/ such detail & depth.
It seems to me that this isn’t his first rodeo. The way he has tried to cover his track so well let’s me to believe that he has most likely done such things before and has gotten away with it

The detectives on the Rispondek (sp?) case was absolutely genius. How many investigators would've kept on looking after finding the 'exact same' items he purchased for the murder kit within his home & apparently unused?? Very well done.
Good job by the police, it's a shame that this beast could be released in a few years, because "life" doesn't mean life, but rather they gave him a minimum of 18 years.
He got life, so he could be there for life, the minimum term is what he has to serve before becoming eligible for parole, which will not be granted if he continues to deny murdering her. Even if he does admit it, there is no guarantee he will be released.

Hats off to the north Wales popo's starting the search for Tati quickly and not wasting the normal time that has to expire before a person who's been reported missing is searched for RIP Tati~you appeared to be a lovely lady and well loved by your friends. What do you have to do in the UK to get a prison term that goes with your crime as32weeks for child pornography on your computer is inside as it's not even a year and everyone gets time off for so called good behaviour so it would even be pretty rare for him to have even served the full32week sentence that the courts had given him.
I completely agree with your comments. A neighbour of ours was sentenced to 30 months for a similar crime on his computer. Unfortunately this crime is now so out of control, that custodial punishments tend to be saved for those who groom children. As a retired schoolteacher, I have to say that what I once considered an aberration, is now an epidemic. There isn’t the infrastructure to give harsher sentences. To be clear, I have zero sympathy with these people. I consider their behaviour to be shocking and a blight on our children. Apparently 95% of all internet activity takes place on the ‘dark web’. We have to stop using technology as an electronic babysitter. It’s an old fashioned view, but the Government’s insistence that mothers must go out to work, is only causing more problems. We are all only human. We get tired, we need to buy food, help our children with their reading, teach them their times tables, shop for their clothes. In the future, history will judge this time very harshly, I believe. When women campaigned for equality, they had no idea that they were sleepwalking their way into tougher lives than they could ever imagine.

The Welsh police are awesome. Watching true crime mainly in the US is so much different. They make you wait up til 72 hours for a missing adult. Which is ridiculous. I’m in Australia and they take each case on it’s merit. Can be up to 24 hours but if foul play is suspected then they’re onto it. Thank goodness for the friends too. So glad they found her

No single woman whatever age should be alone with a male who has shown some kind of interest. Even a brother in law has fantasies about having sex with his sister in law especially if they are in frequent contact. I have had this experience. I did not engage in flirting or anything like that but it still happened. That is the behaviour of the human animal, not the Animal Animal< Animals never do that.
He only handed himself in as he knew the police were about to find the body. And him buying duplicate kill kits shows just how devious this man was. However I am surprised he handed over his computer so easily when the police asked to look in it. You would think he would remember that he was a pedo and had kiddy porn on there, but apparently not. But I am glad he did not remember that, although the prison sentence for his pedo pics is a joke. So maybe he was telling the truth about not having a sex relationship with Tati, she would be far too old for this sicko. Maybe he was grooming her to try and help him get to Indonesian kids or something? Or he was using her flat for his own sexual ends and was telling Tati a pack of lies about why he needed to use her bed to shag in? He let them have the computer because he knew nothing to incriminate him with Tati was on it, better to serve a lesser sentence than have the police constantly after him, he probably thought they would leave him alone after finding the kiddy porn.

Also how could anyone think that pedo pics are less incriminating than possible evidence of murder?? If anything, his pedo pics would incriminate him more. If a man has pedo pics on his computer or anywhere else it absolutely proves that he is a nonce and will abuse kids any chance he gets if he thinks he can get away with it. So if a man is prepared to sexually abuse children, then he is certainly capable of murdering someone too as pedo's don't care that they ruin children lives. Some kids kill themselves after suffering abuse from pedo's, and the pedo who abused them should also be charged with their murder as well as for their vile sex attacks.
