sadly being mind controlled IS something shadow has to worry about since it's happened before. he has a high resilience to it and has been known to fight it off, that doesn't mean it can't happen again and an enemy make him do a significant amount of damage before he regains control. so it's understandable that he would have nightmares about it.

The whole time I kept thinking "Please let the title mean actual dream-nightmare and not that Shadow turned into a nightmare." Sonic's death was tragic! Poor Shadow, I'm so happy it was just a really really REALLY bad dream! Get well soon Shad! ❤️🖤

No, Shadow had a nightmare about him killing Sonic but that did not mean that he wanted to do it. Shadow is not the type to show affection but he will never be seen killing others especially to just be with Amy. Plus, Amy was shocked because she didn't think Shadow would do such a thing. ALSO, keep note that he also killed Amy in his nightmare but it wasn't voluntary, he didn't want to do it.

Shadamy was my second favorite ship before but this comic made it my first. It's very sad, it's very dark, and in the end the darkness and sadness was just a nightmare and Shadow and Amy still love each other.
