El Nido, Palawan has been the most recommended place to visit in the Philippines for us... so we decided to travel there and see what all the fuss was about. The journey to El Nido took over 16 hours! 2 aeroplanes and a 7 hour mini bus drive through Palawan. The journey was bumpy and extremely uncomfortable. Eleise suffers from travel sickness so she struggled for the whole journey, even with medication. It was a terrible journey. BUT.... we El Nido, Palawan will definitely be worth the trip. And hopefully by the end of travelling Palawan.. we would have done the journey twice, just to experience this beautiful island in the Philippines. We are Eleise and Lawrence & Nyh - A young family from the south of England. Like many people the pandemic gave us a shake up! While watching hours of Mark Weins in Thailand - We had our “Ah ha” Moment. We decided we wanted to travel.
Enjoying working for ourselves, we didn’t want to give up our business and decided it was entirely possible for us to do both. So we set about making it our lifestyle to work in the UK for a month, and then travel for a month - month on, month off…. until our little boy Nyh goes to school! We want to inspire people that you don’t have to up-sticks, sell all your belongings and leave behind family to be able to see the world.

yeah it's understandable not easy to travel island to island, it takes time and money to go there, no direct flight in every tourist destination. but it is worth it to go there in paradise. explore the beauty of nature here in Philippines, have fun❤️🇵🇭

Yeah it's really nightmare, same we happened to us last time. We did mistake too last time instead flying to Puerto Princesa we should take directly to El Nido to a small plane just, it's costly but save our time.

If you want to go to El Nido, dont fly via Puerto Princesa Palawan, coz you have to drive about 6-7 hrs.. wasting your time and hard…you can fly direct to Lio airport which is in El Nido.

you should’ve flown airswift direct flight to el nido...I also underestimated the travel time when i went to el nido the first time.. we booked a roundtrip flight for just 3 days and 2 nights and didn’t know that travel time would cost us 2 full days😪😅

I believe you can fly directly into either Coron or El Nido from Manila (avoiding going into Puerto Princessa). Airswift. I guess it costs a fair but more. Not sure.
