@@robonerd125 I meant that the fruit in itself contains a lot of water. Dry it and you will loose 70% of its mass. The dry mass still there would have next to no taste.

I feel like you could make some kind of creme brulee in an orange and get some of the orange flavoring, but you certainly wouldn't get that from a watermelon, and definitely not with that many eggs

It's less about what the idea behind it was, and more about who is behind the videos these days. That last video was posted by a company called "Blossom", and none of their videos are to be trusted. Ever. They just churn out videos that are clickbaity and the recipes in them are often hazardous to your health, such as activated charcoal ice cream, made with real activated charcoal. The stuff pumped into people's stomachs when they injest poison to make them puke it all up, and prevent the absorption of what they don't hurl. On the other hand, there are still a lot of people that do legitimate life hacks that actually work, and are safe and easy.

It's all about making money now. It's been revealed that groups like 5 min crafts and such have multiple channels which have like 10-20 different things and they just reupload videos but swap the order of their crap to make it appear different. They're called content farms and RU-vid SHOULD up their ante and realize these channels are trying to manipulate the algorithms and the monetization features to make as much money as possible. They don't even care if what these channels promote is highly dangerous. There's an Australian chef on youtube who watched these and then tries these "life hacks"and she reveals why they don't work and why they're dangerous. Like using an electric mixer to make caramel yarn she reveals is extremely dangerous because to make caramel a liquid it need to be heated to a high temperature and spilling it onto a spinning blender only throws it around the room. She even went as far as to put plastic shielding around the spot where the caramel was being poured and guess what, it melted through the plastic.

This section has a grumpy grandpa vibe. You know, the "back in my days" kind

I don't know the jean chair, but when I was 11 my 2nd cousin found a frame to a lawn chair and cut up a pair of denim jeans and filled in the chair with that. He was more interested in it from a craft perspective than a chair perspective and since we lived in sight of a river a lot of weird and broken crap would arrive on our field and lawn after a flood. He also found a ton of old glass, that had all the edges softened by the river and sand and he took a special little drill and made little holes in each piece he found and made a wind chime out of it all.

5 minute crafts is a cancer. They aren't concerned about whether anything they do actually works, as long as it looks good. Then there's the fact that in a video they did for 5 minute crafts "KIDS" they did skittles vodka, and iirc, bleaching strawberries to make them white.

Or you know stop watching it, these people need to stop and supporting them by watching is the first step.

Aloe Vera is actually a super resilient and lively plant. My family bought a plant to treat burns while my dad was working at some place with a super hot forge, and we barely watered the thing and it just. Kept. Sprouting. MORE! Seriously, the plant just kept having babies that we would re-pot and give to neighbors and stuff. It had at least 5 in the year we kept it, after which we got rid of it cause my dad got a less burn intensive job.

It's a type of cactus; you don't have to water it often.
