If people won't try to find out who made it, that means that they found the music 'good enough to listen to, but not good enough to search more of the same artist'. So artists get no views/revenue or whatever from it regardless since viewers here might not be bothered to look. They would just 'lazily stay in the channel' they're already following, as you said. I speak of experience when I say that a lot of people simply don't even WANT to (not can't) check the description nor comments.
I'll tell you this: It does help the actual artist. How? Because if people actually like the music, they'll search for the name regardless of it being in the description or not. (It's how I found out about Deadmau5, for instance, and now I have bought several cd's.) The only thing that differs is that it's easier to look it up if it's in the description (and tons of people don't read it anyway, that's a fact), but it's not as mandatory as you think it is, that it MUST be there.
Well now thinking about it, I do think there is some that are in between the "I don't care about it" and the "I care enough to make an actual search" and that would just check the description then give up. However I do think they are so minimal, that if you give credit or not probably have no impact on financial issues and is mostly a respect issue (ak I take back the "you are not helping" part)
Though I agree about the nightcore part and quite honestly like the song, crediting the artist is the bare minimum of respect. If she can't find the artist, she shouldn't do a video on it and post it. Unless lala is totally fine with people taking her video she worked so hard on and post them as their own, she shouldn't do it.
That's the point, isn't it? If you're here to actively "be negative", then you're literally wasting your own energy doing so. And yes, I know you just wanted to help and get the guy's name to be in the descrip, but there's more than 1 way of saying/asking that.

Do you use Audacity to edit your songs to make them nightstep and nightcore? I have the program but cant make the music sound as good as your when i change the pitch or tempo. Plz help. Make a tutorial? Thx and keep up the fuckign amzing music! :D
Well this isn't even legal to start with, of course it isn't mandatory and is in "free for all" territory. Though I agree that it can help, you also said how people can't even check in the comment, forget about actually searching for it. So many that would have gone to help the actual band if you had given credit, won't and will lazily stay in your channel. But I admit that it's a 50/50 and this probably not harmful. But it's more helpful to give credit than not.
I used to upload aswell, and I always put the fact that I had awesome music to share/make more known to the world over the fact I didn't always have a name to go with it. I'm not sure, but I think the same applies for Lala. Also, I don't know if you noticed, but music is a lot easier to 'take' than a video like Lala's. Why? because you can watermark a video, and can't do the same for music. If you want to edit that out, you're doing as much work as just making a video yourself, so why bother?
I was mostly pointing the fact that what you were pointing out as "good reason" in your previous post aren't. Yes some reason are forgivable like the rough time she's going through lately (sorry for your loss and everything that happen, I truly wish thing will get better lala). I was also pointing out because this isn't the first time she didn't gave full credit. Some older song STILL doesn't have full credit. For your last point, I stayed polite and "nice". Well in most youtube case arguing is a waste of energy. Still you and I are both doing it for our own reason. Like I wanted to say to your previous comment, when I posted my first comment I was talking to you, not to lala, there's fortunately no "nice" way to express what I said to you since I was disagreeing with your point. If I was asking to lala directly, yes I would have posted something like what you said and asked "Nicely".
Yes, crediting is a sign of respect, but since when is it 'not' possible to forget something? Lala is having a really rough time lately and as such might forget something because of it. Sorry that each and every one of us is just human and we have our faults. Apart from that, if you know an artist and would like him/her to be credited, how about you try to share it in a nice way, so that your comment would actually 'stay visible', instead of being downvoted to oblivion. Just saying.
