MPG numbers w/econ & CC on at 55mph, 60mph, 65mph, 70mph, 75mph, and 80mph. Flat roads, Windows up, tire pressure above 35psi, A/C off. Thanks in advance!
+ER B It's alright. There's a slight delay when you shift as you wait fot the turbo to spool up again. But if you're bit switching gears, it's pretty responsive.
great videos and a rare car! i like the subtle things you've done with it. great choices. You mentioned in your first impressions vid that you were in a tossup between this car and the mazda 3. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm looking at the Mazda 3GT vs this EX-T both in manual trans and I have no idea what to do. Mazda 3 pros: -nicer interior -hatchback -handling? Civic EX-T pros: -turbo -exterior looks Just wondering what made you choose this car over the 3? i'm having a hard time because i love the everything about the mazda besides the lack of a turbo. have you driven both? is there a huge difference in low-end torque? which one is more fun for everyday putting around? sorry so many questions, but i haven't been able to test drive a MT civic yet.
+Jon Kho i really like a lot about the Mazda 3, but the Civic was so much more refined, while having 90% of the handling/dynamics of the Mazda. Also, the engine in the Civic feels stronger and more lively even that actually has less power.
Jon Im between the 3 and and the civic turbo - I drove the mazda 3 with the 155hp 2 liter with a manual and liked it better than the turbo civic hatch with a manual so I dont know what to do . I have a 2000 civic SI and the 2.0 liter mazda felt closer to that than the turbo civic . I think Im leaning towards the mazda because I like the looks of it better . I don't like the space age styling of the civic I like the clean lines of the mazda just wish the base model didn't have those crappy 16 inch wheels.
+Francis Lau I went to the website I use for all my Honda parts, and put 2016 Civic EX-L in as my vehicle. I went to the chassis section and found the steering wheel rim. It cost me $110 I believe.
Curious why you didnt like the Accord Coupe 6MT? Im debating between these two and wanted your opinion? Might wanna make a video on why you didnt like the accord! Keep up the vids!!
+Bilal Ahmed It was too big for me, I didn't like having a coupe, the clutch was very touchy but didn't have much feel (make it difficult to drive smoothly), and I found the seats very uncomfortable.
Hey there, I posted this on your other video but I wanted you to see it. When you're cruising at 70-75 mph, what rpms are you at? It looks like it gets above 2500 rpm at 65 mph, but I'm not sure if you're in 5th or 6th gear there
Isn't that too high/bad for the engine? My 99 accord with only 150 horsepower cruises at 70 MPH at 2700 RPM and i know the cvt version cruises at like 2300 RPM at 70 mph

+Andrew I ordered it from my local Honda dealer. I had a friend if mine install it. I think you pop off the airbag cover, unplug the airbag, and then the rim unscrews. Unfortunately, I don't know all the specifics.
