Maybe you can confirm this. I understand when you turn on the headlights they are always high beam. Then the system automatically senses oncoming lights and turns off just the LED bulbs in the headlight unit that are in the path of the oncoming lights. That sounded pretty awesome to me, just wondering if that is how your vehicle works.
I’m not sure where you are located, but I’m in the States and we have archaic lighting laws, which may effect how our lights are set up. On mine, the high beams can either be turned on, or turned to automatic, where they dim when sensors detect oncoming lights and what not. The default setting is just the low beams.
Hi just wanted to say I appreciate you for doing this video. It’s not often you see a video from the owners perspective. I will be in the market for the Westminster in the next couple of months and you have given me some good things to look forward to as did your other video. I hope you do more videos on your experience with your Range Rover.
I was interested in the dashboard information dimer switch function. All I want to really see is what gear I'm in (PRNDL) and maybe the redundant mph that I'm traveling.
@@louisv6975 it should be the one switch that turns on all the courtesy and dome lights . Like I'm a ford. But, I don't have a range rover. I'm exclusively driving american cars x 39 years
Yeah, the easiest way to adjust the heated or cooled seats is by pressing the climate temperature ring and then adjusting to either heat or cooling. However, you can press the seat in the screen and it will turn the heated seats on. I couldn’t figure out how to set it to cooled using this method but I wasn’t concerned as I don’t use them that way anyway.
@@yungarod1173 My comment is my opinion which I am entitled to. Why you have made it personal suggesting I can’t afford one is a ridiculous comment. You don’t know me! So happens I did consider a RR Sport amongst others in the sector but settled On new X5 40i which IN MY OPINION and that of most motoring journalists is a far better car to drive and with the spec I have a much better interior. I appreciate you prefer the RR and that’s great but let’s not get personal, that’s for kids on Instagram!
@@MrMrp69 well for your information, there is actually amazing high quality ambient lighting, not to crazy like BMWs or Mercedes, Definitely ambient lighting and definitely not “crap” like you state in your opinion. So in my opinion, or a factually “statement” there is actually the high quality ambient lighting.
@@yungarod1173 I personally own a 2021 mercedes gle 53 amg and the ambient lighting is perfect. Not too much not too little, also helps that you can adjust the brightness. Mercedes is the way to go if you're into ambient lighting as a party trick.
