Nightwish Albums Ranked From My Least Favourite to My Favourite 

Thank you for having mentionned "Creek Mary's blood" indeed, no one talks about, but it is my favorite of Nightwish

Great video dude! And interesting ranking. Nightwish have a wide diversity in discography and I believe a lot of that is in part due to Tuomas' evolution in songwriting/wanting to explore different textures and lyrical themes/concepts, and of course having 3 completely different lead female singers bringing their own elements to the table. Here is my current ranking of Nightwish albums: 1. Imaginaerum (my first full NW album experience, so biased) 2. Once 3. Dark Passion Play 4. Oceanborn 5. Century Child 6. Wishmaster 7. Human :ll: Nature 8. Endless Forms Most Beautiful 9. Angels Fall First I'm very much looking forward to the new album 'Yesterwynde' which is the 3rd and final album of Tuomas' trilogy. Cheers!

I flew to Helsinki to see "End of and Era" I know later they made a CD/DVD out of it. That concert is the one of my life which I will never foget. I tell you why, THE CROWD. I have seen Genesis, Collins, Hackett, Gabrel, YES, and the list goes on.... I have never seen a more passionate crowd than in Helsinki. The best concert EVER. Tarja nailed it, and the boys were out of this World.

Agree fully with Dark Passion Play. It hit bluntly at the time but listening to it again recently I was surprised how much I loved it.

Oceanborn is an all time work of art, nothing really compares. Next would be imaginarium, century, passion play, once in no particular order, but way far beneath.

I do not dislike any of their albums, but some of them simply hit harder than others in different parts of my life. 9) Angels Fall First 8) Human Nature 7) Once 6) Endless Forms Most Beautiful 5) Wishmaster 4) Dark Passion Play 3) Oceanborn 2) Imaginaerum 1) Century Child I discovered them via the huge Once advertising, but soon got all their albums back in 2004 and found to like their older style better. Quite interesting to see different tastes. Regarding the singers: I love all of them for their own songs. I didn't like Anette singing Tarja stuff but I also don't like Floor singing Anette stuff that much. Floor sometimes exaggerates on the distortion in her voice which sometimes don't fit with either of her predecessors

I'm not crying reminiscing! I admire anyone who even attempts to put Nightwish albums in any kind of ranking (obviously Once is #1 by default) . I think "10th Man Down" should have been on an actual album as well, but I digress. I think I would go: 9. Human Nature 8. Endless Forms Most Beautiful 7. Artists evolve, some fans don't.

For me Imaginaerum is their perfect album.. but agree with Human Nature is pretty weak.

Century child 8.Human nature 9.AFF I agree that the latest Album is no good, but for different reasons. Tribal is the only Track, where I get fully enthusiastic. Music was from the beginning that dislike thing, that killed the Album for me. The whole Album is too soft and too slow. We have the biggest disagree on "Century child" where only 4 Songs made it to my Playlist. The rest is just like not existing for me. EFMB has only 3 Tracks that I dislike. I hate Elan. Alpenglow and Eyes of Sharpad Ghula were not nessessary. The fact that I`m a Floor fan may explain some differences in our lists.
