In case you lovely ladies didn't know...Nightwish is from Finland. Of Finnish descent i am really proud of this INCREDIBLE BAND.

I love the way Marco and Emppu cross in front of Floor, like a curtain opening to reveal something beautiful with a voice that will captivate. One hell of a banger of an opening number.

Thanks for returning to Nightwish. This is arguably one of the best opening songs on the planet...........five days ago in Gelsenkirchen I watched Nightwish and the six month pregnant Floor in action for the very first time..…what an amazing and dare I say a Devine experience. And yes their were 70 year old as well as 10-12 year old kids. A real family affair

Hello, you lovely women. Carol, my wife of 42 years, and I just had twin grand-babies (boy and a girl) and my first present to them was the Deluxe Box Set of Floor's Paragon Album, along with a turntable and amplified speakers so that they could hear Floor's lovely voice in its true, non-digital, glory. Yesterday, we were babysitting the newborn twins and one of them was getting a bit fussy. I put on Floor's album and that twin almost immediately settled down to listen. True magic. That is the sense I get from every Nightwish performance with Floor on female lead vocals. By the way, I loved both of your reactions to this amazing show opener at Wacken 2013. Next you should check out the show opener at the incredible Wembley 2015 concert, "Shudder Before the Beautiful". Keep the Nightwish live (with Floor) reactions coming. Love what you two are doing together.

I was almost 11 years old at the time and hadn't heard or seen anything about Nightwish - I had no idea what metal was. But when I saw Floor enter the stage, I was just thrilled. In that second I became a Nightwish hardcore fan.

I think is one of the best openings to a concert Shudder Before the Beautiful is a great opener as well and think Floor had only been with the band 4 or 5 months before this you would think she been with them from the start. You my like to watch Learn the set list in 48 hours as a reaction or just on your own but I think it would give a good insight into how Nightwish work as a family not just a band.

"Wish i had an angel" was used for the sf movie "Alone in the dark".

If I was on a long road trip, I wouldn’t listen to this song. I would listen to this whole concert

If you haven't heard this one of Floor Jansen's fan given nicknames is the Valkyrie cos apart from anything else She's 6' 1" and the saying goes at your 1st concert especially if you get close toe the stage you get your 'Floorgasm' (just watch the young fan's faces)

Hard to believe that less than a year before Nightwish was a’dead’ band, having just sacked their singer. Floor Jansen was a talented but ‘burned out’ singer. Then Tuomas made that epoch changing call ‘you have 48 hours to learn the set’. Floor takes over the singer role in America. A few months later she is introduced to the European audience and Wacken 2013 takes place. A concert moving the plate tectonics of metal. What a banger of an opener. 100 minutes still to go, hearts and souls awaiting capture. Floor indisputably takes ownership of the Nightwish back catalogue. None of these songs was written for her but she smashes them all.

Nightwish produced their own movie called "Imaginaerum" (which is what this tour is called). Using music in a movie is a nightmare unless it's a cover (most are - though they may be excellent covers indistinguishable from the original). The legal issues surrounding who owns the rights is awful. It's rarely done for this reason. Interestingly, I believe there's one song used in a video game. One of the Bloodrayne series if memory serves (but it's really hard to find which - I'd have to go through all the old albums).

You should sit whenever you have time and watch this whole DVD concert from beginning to end, it's incredible. You wouldn't be able to keep reacting to the rest of the songs on it, but that's fine, Nightwish has a lot of more material.

I seen them live 8 times and met them at a meet n greet. Amazing.

Lets dig into this, Tuomas writes from observation and experiences. You know he has some well used pseudonyms for himself in lyrics with references thereto, so when you have boy, poet, dreamer, writer/song writer or ocean soul in a lyric, it is Tuomas referencing himself, he has described himself as a Peter Pan character. The dark chest did and maybe does still exist, Tuomas found it in his grand parents attic full of toys and story books that carried his imagination off in excitement to all manner of wondrous places, "Once there was a child’s heart, the age I learned to fly". Therefore throughout this song Floor sings "one with a pure heart" in a very high head voice, just as you might expect from an excited small child, that being Tuomas himself. Now look at the lyrics again and it all makes sense, Tuomas never includes notes or lyrics that are "fillers" or embellishment, it is all there for a very good reason, sometimes almost impenetrable or ambiguous. "Of the one with pure heart, once so long ago", Tuomas the small boy.

While Your Lips are Still Red is the only Nightwish song that I know of that was done for a movie. It features Marko singing, and is quite different. Edited to add that, if I understand correctly, it is not technically a Nightwish song, but rather one that Tuomas and Marko wrote for a movie, and which Nightwish has played in concert.

Generation Gap + Nightwish = Instant Click! 👍🤟 What an epic opener! This was Floor's introduction as the Nightwish singer for most of those fans there, and wow, what an entrance! That would have been incredible to experience. If you want to check out another epic Nightwish opener, I highly recommend you give "Shudder Before the Beautiful" from Wembley a look-see. Many people think it's even better than this one.

I flew over to Finland from Scotland to see the show's in Kitee and Vaasa , I even stayed at the Rosko camp site where Nightwish will shortly be recording their new album. Both show's were awesome, the band were on fire and Floor, seven month's pregnant, was totally amazing. It's so sad that these two show's will be the last one's for quite some time, what an emotional roller coaster of a ride it was for both the band and we fan's, kiitos Nightwish, till we meet again!

These people hit the gas and never let up for an hour an a half! I’ve seen the whole show so many times - and feel exhausted every time by the end. I can’t IMAGINE how the crowd felt!!!

I know it has been mentioned in other videos to see Nightwish "Poet and the Pendulum", however I strongly urge you to read up on the backstory of this song. If you don't read the backstory, the lyrics may not make sense. Based on Poe's "The Pit and the Pedulum". I will tell you this much: Way back when, when the first female lead was fired, it sent Tuomas into a deep depression, so much so suicide was contemplated. Instead, this song is him fulfilling that suicide through song. It is deeply emotional and heart wrenching...and yet a masterpiece. Again, I urge to watch the 2016 OFFICIAL LIVE Wembley Stadium video. Be sure to turn on closed caption/subtitles. Oh...and bring a box of tissues.

Great reaction. Others have mentioned some movies that have used Nightwish songs. But they truly achieved cultural relevance when Your is an Empty Hope was used on an episode of the Simpsons.

I love mom's beautiful necklace. You both look stunning is burgundy. Nightwish fan are filled with passion and love for everyone in Nightwish and all of their fans feel like friends. rarely are there moss pits of violence. They are all filled with ecstasy and awe with the experience. Very heartwarming to see the bonding experience between you both. I agree as well. There keyboard player wrote a theme to a Finnish film called wile your lips are red also one of these songs was used in nemo , he loves gothic rock amongst other things and and studied music for 12 years he can play not only keyboard but clarinet and saxophone but seldom plays those , the whole of the nightwish experience is based on what he loves the gothic mood and music .

Good to see you coming back. As to energy in concerts, yes this is energetic, but Buenos Aires 2018 has even more energy. Movie - the album this tour promotes, Imaginaerum, contains much of the music on the album and is also called Imaginaerum. It's a bit dark but we'll worth watching.

That showopener was Floors "baptism by fire" to the big European nightwish fanbase, for shure there were some shows on the continent before Wacken but only for a 3 to 5k audiance..and of course the fans knew Floor from her band " after Forever". Nightwish was the end of the whole festival,,,and Floor.... She was superb. She not only took the spectators in the palm of her hand from this first Song on, she closed her hand, held... and she only opened it after the end of the show closer " Last ride of the day".

I was last night at Vaasa show and this song had really huge energy. Floor is pregnant and can't move so much as usual, but still headbanging 🤘🏼. Those fireworks are really hot... I was 25 metres from stage and fire still heated.💪🏼😊

Once you've done all the songs from this Wacken concert, you should purchase the Blu Ray of the concert. It's a totally different experience to watch it straight through. Thanks ladies for this one. Made my night.

When I bought the tickets, Anette was still the lead singer. Floor was a great replacement. I like Anette for her own work, but she was never quite right for NW.

I loooooove this song and loved youre reaction too. I love the excitement of you two (that reflected mine) . I had the honor to see Nightwish live last monday for the first time. It was a blast! Great location, perfect weather, met wonderful people and Nightwish was realy awesome. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to see them live before there break. Floor, the beautiful pregnant Valkyrie Godess, was amazing (she must be a truly wonderwoman to rock the stage with that baby belly, just incomprehensible!) and her guys where all outstanding too. It was as Troy said during the concert "not just another gig but just like a party at home with friends and family" They played this song too and the audience went nuts . ❤
