Tuomas writes the songs as you know, but it is up to Floor, Marco and Troy to decide how do it - just like Kai and Emppu also decides how they wants to play. And after Floor entered the band, she is in from the start with piecing the songs together, singing from the start - and this was an evolution in their work, according to Tuomas.
Tuomas pretty much comes with a detailed demo he presents to the rest of Nightwish, but he is open for other members' suggestions for changes. Floor has done some changes and additions to Tarja and Anette era songs and to my mind made the songs even better. Every member is an expert on his own instrument. Of course you have to give them some freedom. But Tuomas has the right to exercise his veto. But I don't think Nightwish would have such a good chemistry if he said no, no, no all the time.
Risto When you hear Tarja's version and now how Floor sings it. It is literally llike a completely different song. Floor added so much interpretation and melodic vocals herself. And she raised this song to a a higher dimension and level. Same as what Floor did with Ghost love score. For instance that famous Wacken 2013 ending is completely different from Tarja's ending. It is 100% Floor who changed that not Tuomas. When Floor sang it like that for the first time during rehearsals Tuomas just said 'Yes!!!'.

This song is a blast!! When I started to listening Nightwish I really liked this song inmediately. But, I algo was thinking something like "I'll never listen this song in concert...". But "Decades World Tour" made it possible!! The band is playing better than ever!!
Yes, this is a Tarja era song; off the second album Oceanborn. What's interesting about this performance is that Tuomas and Empuu are the only original members left from this time period and yet they owned this song las if they all recorded it yesterday. Fukn amazing. Keep doing reactions to this show so that we can get the older songs.

I love the dynamic of this song.Marco is just incredible(it goes without saying,so is Floor).The exchanges between them are great.Does this band ever fail to give 100%?( I think not).
They are all amazing musicians. Floor a Goddess, Marko a Viking, Emppu being Emppu (have you noticed this is a no solo song, he doesn't need to show off his skills, he gives exactly as much as the song needs, no more and no less0, Tuomas is a living legend and genius, Kai a walking human metronome with 5 hands and separate brain for his feet, Troy a super talented person who gives this special folky vibe. I can't say who is my favourite member of the band, because they are all special and what makes Nightwish so unique is the chemistry between all of them. Great reaction!

Man I haven't heard this song in a long time. As a matter of fact I haven't listened to Nightwish a lot the last years but these least few weeks I am catching up:P Seeing this amazing person and singer from my own country just killing it on stage with those guys never gets old.
I also have multiple times that i thought ok they will not top this song......till i hear the next one....every single time they blow me away that's why they have no equal, every other band have a favorit song, with Nightwish i thougt a couple of times this is my favorit song and even now i realy can't pick a favorit song of their playlist. thnx for your reaction and grtz from the Netherlands
This is my favourite song from the Tarja Era, probably in my top 5 of favourite Nightwish songs. Is so beautiful, i would love to have that last verse tattooed.

I’m a hardcore Tarja fan and I really love Tarja version on every song, Tarja is a symphonic metal god as so people are saying now and days and it’s seems the truth but there is not doubt Floor can do it, she is just a cute teddy bear

Well, sorry but Floor does it better, also the stage performance and the soul and passion she put's in the song (songs) that makes Nightwish even better but that's my opinion,if everybody else likes Tarja better it's of course oké but i prefer Floor.
@@eddiehesselman3904 to be fair with Tarja, there are not a many records from that time with her and if there are she was pretty young. I love the original record because of the sound is perfect. I like floor version which is different but Tarja is the voice of that operatic period.
@@cvb6089 It was metaphor saying that she is absolutely adorable. So if you gotta problems because I called her cute than you need a lot of growing up to do. Only because Floor is versatile doesn’t necessarily make the person better but sure. I like Tarja and her operatic style also Tarja is actually versatile if you didn’t notice. She has a pop technique in her voice which I love so much. But obviously she’s not going full Alissa white gluz on us lol. Tarja has her limits which is totally fine.
