Marko....the man, the myth, the legend.

When you think a cover could not get any better than the original. Then Nightwish cover it😍

I think the way Emppu shifted to the tapping technique in the final solo really let him pay tribute to the Gilmore original on the slide guitar without copying it, making it less of a cover and more of a tribute. I LOVE the way he interpreted Gilmore in this song. This song is one of the better answers to the question, "how good a guitarist is Emppu?"

My hair stands up when I hear this song. Just the power of Marco's voice is amazing. The whole song is a testament to the greatness of Nighwish.

Emppu plays a ESP EV-1 Guitar, a custom version of ESP's Horizon Guitar series.

The original is nostalgia for times past. This one is pure rage against the passing of time. Brilliant.

Always a day made better, listening to Marko sing!

And a big hand for the Nightwish technical crew, they always make the best possible sound for these video's and let's not forget the camera crew, lichting etc, always extremely well done!

A lifelong Pink Floyd fan (from syd barrett daze) became a Nightwish fan after he heard this and made me play it back to him three times! Emppu has an EVP-1 custom guitar here. ESP, I think. Even David Gilmour really likes this tribute!

Nightwish has the ability to make a cover track seem like they wrote it themselves :-)
