My personal song of the year 2024. Top 3 in my NW rating. Whatever guard you have up, when Floor's voice comes in she cut's thru it like a fresh sharpened butcher knife and get's you right into your soul and while your bleeding out you feel satisfied. When Floor goes into her emotional mode you can sleep in the finnish winter outside in the woods and still be warmed by her voice and feel comfortable. Floor sang her parts for this album only six weeks after giving birth to her daughter Lucy. She said she was still in pain from standing but sitting and singing was fine. The crew worked with her at her home to record these parts .. they had to work around Floor being a mom and taking care of the baby. Someone commented that it was a shame that many women are not allowed to age ... Lady GaGa was an example. Here we have Floor with minimal makeup .. the lines we see is simply part of life .. and Floor I think is comfortable with that as she is comfortable with her life. That's kinda cool when you see actors fighting to remain young. My understanding is that this is saying don't grieve for someone who has left us but instead celebrate a life well lived .. they are not gone but they are with us in the wind, waves on a beach creating gems from rocks, moss beneath our feet. I would love to have this played at my wake .. such beauty.
