Floor recorded her part six weeks after giving birth to Lucy. The crew came to her house to do the recording .. which they had to do around mom taking care of the baby.
Tuomas wrote this one after his father died. It is a tribute to the loved ones we have lost. I must have seen the video at least 50 times now, but every time Floor lifts her head to watch the lantern light burning and begins to hum, it gets to me. Besides an extraordinary singing talent, she conveys the emotions of the stories in such a unbelievable way. She is able to do this as she is a high sensitive person. It took several takes to get this song in the bag as she could not hold the tears. When you look close, you can see a tear on her cheek. She would be a sensation on Broadway or certainly would win an Oscar doing any title song for a movie. Producers and directors: WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!

Pure Floor. I love this song. Btw, this song was Floor's pick for a single, it made her cry when she first heard it (I had the same reaction to this song, it's so touching). Tuomas lost his father a few years ago and he wrote this song out of that emotion. The message is to enjoy life, as it's beautiful and should be celebrated instead of grieved when it ends.
My personal song of the year 2024. Top 3 in my NW rating. Whatever guard you have up, when Floor's voice comes in she cut's thru it like a fresh sharpened butcher knife and get's you right into your soul and while your bleeding out you feel satisfied. When Floor goes into her emotional mode you can sleep in the finnish winter outside in the woods and still be warmed by her voice and feel comfortable. A love song not only for his father who died just a very few short weeks after he started writing the album, but to all those we have lost Their atoms are recycled in the snow on your palm, the streams, the moss under your feet etc. You are still linked to them. If you noticed a tear in Floors eye towards the end, she could not get through rehearsals of this song without crying. I love Floor's low register, even though she can hit F6. I prefer the velvet of her low range. Nightwish put aside 2 weeks for Floor to record her parts. She completed them all in 6 days shortly after Lucy arrived. I have the 3 CD Earbook, the album, the orchestral versions and the instrumental versions There are 12 tracks. The album is pronounced "wind" as in a clock, not "wind" as in moving air. Still my favourite track, even though every time I listen to it I change my mind. In the end I'm always waiting for this track. Orchestral arrangements by James Shearman.
Tuomas has mentioned in some interviews at the beginning of the year that there will be more of these lyric videos. And now at the beginning of autumn, he has mentioned that he doesn't know the schedule when they will come out. So we are looking forward to the upcoming videos. Tuomas + his wife Johanna and Troy are writing new music for the upcoming Auri album. The recordings will be this winter and the third Auri album will be released in the spring. In autumn, Auri (Tuomas, Johanna, Troy) will do a European tour playing in small venues. Kai Hahto plays the drums for the album as he did for the previous album. He also goes on tour as a drummer. Floor has her own solo tour in autumn 2025 as well. And bass player Jukka Koskinen also tours, he is a member of the band Crownshift. They will perform, for example, at the Wacken Open Air festival in August 2025. So the band members are busy with different projects. But all of those are events on a smaller scale than what Nightwish's size is on tour. When NW goes on their European tours, for example, it means a group of about 70 people, trucks, buses, vans... It's a big "circus". And they don't want to do something like that now. But the smaller ones are apparently OK.

His image is also in the booklet of a physical album (3cd Earbook). He is the first pope in film, and also the first born filmed human (b. 1810). Strange, but interesting. 😅🤘
