The song is about the early history of 'Music". From tapping on cave walls, to the drums being used to communicate to surrounding villages (bonfires being set). It is is MUSIC talking to humans and focuses on the very first discovered music, the video part of the lyre with the clay pot next to it. Look up: Hurrian hymn No. 6. This guy Tuomas is a flippin' Genius. Every song on the album is a very deep story in itself, the lyrics as important as the music.

Hello Billy. It is not very often that some song causes you to be speechless. But I understand.I got the chills watching you. I do hope you do each song from the album. It is different than most Nightwish , but it still has the Nightwish elements. I really think you will enjoy this. If you do listen to it do it in the order they are in on the album. Take care my friend and stay safe.

This... hits different now. I'm rediscovering Billy's reactions and catching up on his NW reactions. I saw this and have to comment. RIP Ann. You were the one who welcomed me to the world of NW RU-vid reactions. I couldn't attend your services, but I did donate and left my condolences. I hope you can see from wherever you went that there are still a million of people out there still discovering Nightwish, still sharing your words of wisdom (Shout out to Gabriel for taking up that mantel), and still being awed by the magnality of this band. We miss you, Ann. I miss you.

Billy, review this album in order. it's important not to skip around. Each song builds on the previous. This is Classical Metal. Tuomas is carving a new genre. The lyrics and music are incredibly deep. Before getting to "Noise" listen to "Music" a half dozen times or so for the meaning to sink in. This album is going over the heads of a lot of people, but I'm pretty sure you'll appreciate it.

Since there's not much I can add after all those previous comments about this song concerning the music/instrumentation and Floor's vocals, I decided to share this piece of information about the music video: The string instruments you can see in this music video are called "The Lyres of Ur" or "Harps of Ur". They are considered to be the world's second oldest surviving stringed instruments & are more than 4500 yrs old.

The song "Tribal" from this album is AMAZING! In fact, the whole album is! The more you listen to the songs on this album, the better they get.

Loved your reaction, I love this song,I read that at the base of the musical insrument LY,RE,you can see a (POT) , the pot Greek,I think, with Pan the goat god of music, had an inscription ,they translated it ,IT Was Music named (Hurrian no6) ,that is what Floor was saying the very first song ,TUOMAS used this for his first song and Floor brings it to life. Look forward to hearing more Nightwish.

Nightwish dropped a concert dvd last year, Decades, Live in Buenos Aires. lots of great songs there to check out. "Slaying The Dreamer" and "Dead Boy's Poem" in particular.

I randomly discovered Nightwish back in the days of limewire, and fell in love with the original lead vocalist, Tarja. I think my favorite song is I Wish I Had An Angel, but I also enjoyed Elvenpath, She Is My Sin, and of course their Phantom of the Opera song

Agree on doing the new album in order. Each song is awesome alone, but there's an outer story going on too. ( usually is with Tuomas ) Considering most reactors that are going to get to it usually do within 3 months, I'd say a year and almost 3 months is pretty darned loyal. What on earth else do you want from me? lolol

I am keeping an eye out for it!😁 So far I know you did not missed a thing in the beginning...the build up in this song is lovely, a perfect manner to open a album, maybe a Show...me thinks so! 👌 Hopefully you will do the whole album after this 1, and no worries the 1 that is not mentioned perfectly fits after this album... ...🖐

The one? Hmm... Poet and the Pendulum? Or Greatest Show on Earth? I follow too many reacters, so I forgot... lol. Why do you have to tease us like that? Hasn't the Nightwish Army treated you right? Ok ok, I'll wait.... lol. I usually skip the first 2 minutes of this song. The intro is sooooo llooooong. But I guess it's also kinda the intro to the album.
