Comparing the two versions, at the end of the vocals, Tarja doesn't give the same climax. Floor changed the final and give a really high note in the end. After the vocal part, Tarja engages the Diva mode and leaves the stage. Floor stays on the stage and commands the crowd's floorgasm, making it epic.

I used to be a big Nightwish Fan at the time of Tarja. Then Anette came, and for me Nightwish was not really the same. I distanced myself from that Band. Then I found out they had yet another singer: Floor. I listened to her performing, and that changed everything. Like for you, Nightwish was reborn for me. I have to admit: When I heard "Ghost Love Score" with Floor for the first time, I had tears in my eyes. She is amazing!!

All my neighbors listen to the full concert at least once a week whether they like it or not

Best version of Ghost Love Score ever! This song is written for Floor! GLS is a very difficult song to sing. Floor is a sensible woman and full of passion. She sings it with sensibility, technique and passion. Now it's perfect!

I'm so, SO glad I saw your reaction! I listened to Nightwish when Tarja was the singer and kinda let the whole band go when Tarja left and never gave them a possibility! (Except The Islander, that shit is epic). I found this performance just randomly shuffling through youtube... My reaction was kinda just like yours, but I literally cried and laughed at the same time from almost the beginning. Just. Wow. Speechless. Breathless. Just WOW! And I'm from Finland btw :D

All right, seems we got ourselves a new Floorfan :-). Just work through Wacken 2013, Wembley 2015 and Tampere 2015, they are all great recordings and cover different albums. Wacken is still the setlist made for Anette, so the "Imaginaerum" tour. Wembley and Tampere are the new album for Floor "Endless forms most beautiful" with different older songs mixed in. Notably "Poet and the Pendulum" from Wembley which is in my opinion Floors real masterpiece in interpretation. Have fun, I promise you will be amazed even more by Floor Jansen and Nightwish looks almost like a different band with her, they are all so happy!

I was right there with you. I discovered Nightwish over a decade ago after hearing Wishmaster on a streaming music channel. I was a big Tarja fan and couldn't get enough of them and the symphonic metal sound crafted by Tuomas. After Tarja left the band, I gave Anette a chance but though she was very good, she wasn't Tarja and didn't quite fit the puzzle known as Nightwish. In the last year I came across reaction videos for this performance of Ghost Love Score and received a "Floorgasm". I still love Tarja, but I now like Floor the best. I missed the last 7 years of an old favorite band also. I have since purchased the 2013 Wacken video and audio collection as well as their Endless Forms Most Beautiful CD to add to my collection. I have searched for and watched as many Tampere and Wembley performances featuring Floor as I could. Can't get enough. Welcome back!

Dude, you are the same as me. Nightwish fan since 1998, stopped following them when Anette came around because she obviously could not sing the old songs. And then 2 years ago I noticed that the lead singer of After Forever is now fronting Nightwish! And since then I have discovered that pretty much every single song she performs, she performs better than even Tarja could. Simply because she is not limited to her soprano. I mean, hell, she is even doing death metal growls on some songs lol. Believe me, you are in for a ride! Also, don't limit yourself to listening to old songs just because you know them. I did that at first. And missed out on some absolute masterpieces. Like "The Greatest Show on Earth" or "I want my tears back".

it was like looking myself when i see your reaction. when Tarja left and Anette came in my interest were falling a bit. for me Anette were not the type of singer i like in this sort of music. but when i hear this song again with Floor i was shocked, i couldnt believe what i was hearing, and in an very positive way like many others. And now im looking every Nightwish reaction and i need too listen too this Wacken concert and also the Tampere show every single day. I am totally back in again in the Nightwish world. I think Floor was the perfect fit for Nightwish and for me i cant get enough even i sit every day for the last three years and listen too Nightwish again. It's always great to watch Nightwish fans to rediscover their favorite band with Floor and experience a Floorgasm.

I don't know if you remember the band After Forever, but Floor Jansen was their singer before they broke up in 2009. There have been more changes to the band. After this tour Jukka steped away due to health issues, he handpicked Kai (Wintersun) to replace him. He is still associated with the band, does administrative stuff. Not seen on this video is Troy, who plays many instruments (most prominently the pipes). Good song to see Troy is I Want my Tears Back live from Wacken 2013. First tarja fan I have seen to appreciate FLOOR, this was the first nightwish song I heard in my life and I have since listened to it hundreds of times and chills every time

Just around 2013, they played in Denmark. I took my brother to see them. He's a massive Tarja fan, didn't like Annette in Nightwish and didn't want to go. I didn't know Nightwish at all, but I could see the singer was someone called Floor. So he gave in and we went. He was estatic and so was I. He was a fan reborn, just like you. I became a fan! :) Great reaction. Keep it real, mate!

Still remember that day...it was 20th October 2012, when I was surfing on youtube and said to myself, lets check NW after few years of avoiding it. I felt from my chair when I saw Floor Jansen touring with NW in USA. That was hell of a surprise, since I know Floor from AF and Ayreon. Luckily she stayed in NW next spring, and that's it how NW got reborn.

Man ... at this point watching people react to this song has become sort of a new hobby of mine. It literally never gets old. Truly tho, Floor is the best thing to happen to Nightwish in a long, long time. Possibly ever.

Welcome back bro 😎 Floor Jansen auditioned for her first band "After Forever" in 1996 when she was about 16 and still was enlisted in "De Rock Academie" in Tilburg in her native country The Netherlands. In 2009 that band disolved when a member left because of artistic differences (He became a founding member of "Epica" another symphonic Metalband from the south of The Netherlands). Than Floor started her own band "Revamp" and worked too hard and had a "burn out"(nerveous breakdown or something like that). In 2012 Nightwish called and SMS'd to ask her to replace their second female vocalist Annete Olzon. From "After Forever" I recomend "Monolith of Doubt" live at "Kopspijkers" and from "Revamp" I recomend the song "Disdain" live a "Graspop" 👀👍😁 I saw "beast in Black "open for Nightwish in Amsterdam november 2018 😎 Alsoo check Anette Olzon out in her new band "Dark Element"👍 almost forgot back in the day "After Forever"Floors first band has opened for Nightwish on tour 😜

So nice to find people like you ! I love the reactions of the people that in a certain way quitted on the band, after Tarja left. Just because in general they feel that the band is still so good, and even better. Yes, Floor is amazing. And there is people like me, who used to listen to te band but wasn't so sure of who was the lead singer in each song, until I knew, but i finded it out when Floor was already in the band, and I begun to really love the band with her. Now we are under some kind of spell. The spell that this impressive woman spelled on us. We all fell in love with her after listening to this song, then we couldn't get out. We are hooked. Good reaction. I just started listening to Nightwish a couple of months ago and GLS was the first song I heard and was blown away by Floor’s voice, gave me goosebumps. Her range and power are incredible! Also am very impressed with Marcos voice from the other videos I’ve watched. The whole band is incredibly talented! Floor Jansen is the is the name of the vocalist you saw in this clip. She has a classical vocal background education and can sing any style she likes from jazz to opera high to growling low. Believe me when i tell you you have not even scratched the surface yet of what she's capable of. The clip was shot a few months after Floor jointed the band right in the middle of their US leg of the world tour. They asked her to join after tensions between the previous (Anette) vocalist and the rest of the band had rissen so high that they fired her. With close to a year still to go to complete the tour, and their next concert planned 2 day later they, needed a replacement fast. They called Floor because she had toured with them when she was part of the support bands"After Forever" and later "Revamp" on several occasions and they were quiet impressed by her vocals (who would not be?). She only had 2 days, including a flight from the Netherlands to the US, to learn the setlist and only had one rehearsal with the band a couple of hours before her first show and she nailed it. Since they were making a documentary about the worldtour a lot of what happened was recorded. I like the reactions from former fans who haven't heard Floor. There have been two or three bands that I was once a big fan of, then for some reason lost interest or stopped following them. And it is a real pleasure to go back years later and realize that you missed some great moments. Lot of new music for you, and you somehow feel like your original high esteem for them has been confirmed...

I was an After Forever fan back in the old Tarja days of Nightwish. I was so excited when she joined, and she has completely transformed the band. Her voice is unmatched, imo, and the band has never sounded tighter or looked happier on stage. Poet and the Pendulum at Wembley 2015 is another must see, as is anything from Wacken 2013. Greatest Show on Earth at Tampere 2015, which is from their first album with her. She breathes life into Annette songs that they never had for me. Her Poet and the Pendulum is an emotional rollercoaster. You should definitely check out some After Forever and ReVamp, her previous bands, if you want to kind of see her journey to this point. She has always been phenomenal.

Man I enjoyed this reaction so much, one reason for that is how relatable it is... I never turned my back on Nightwish though, but GLS had always been special to me, before TPATP and TGSOE it had been my no. 1 favourite NW song for YEARS and I thought nobody on Earth would ever be able to do it justice like Tarja did. I was super excited when I first listened to this live version of Floor (I didn't know her so I had no idea what she was capable of) but also nervous - would she ruin it? Would she nail it? I would have appreciated anything as long as it would have been at least half as good as Tarja's GLS was back then... My reaction when I finally watched Floor's Wacken performance was... well, pretty much EXACTLY like yours!!! Which is why I can certainly say "I feel you". I also loved seeing you fall right back into your "long lost love" for NW like that... Also very relatable, even tho I experienced it with stuff other than NW. Very moving, all in all. For me personally, Floor's singing is special in this one. (It is in every song but even more in GLS, because she "made it her own" in such an overwhelming way...) Her interpretation being so full of emotion, almost as if she was acting most of the time (I like to compare it to musical actors, because that's basically what her singing sounds like to me!!), made this song even more special than it had ever been before. And no wonder she's able to do it like that - Floor once said in an interview that it is really important to her knowing in all detail what the songs she has to sing are about. And you can tell she definitely knows what she is doing, not only when it comes to her singing abilities but also when it comes to the topics of the respective songs, by the way she is "acting" with her voice. All that's left to say is: Welcome back to the Nightwish fandom ♥

Floor joined Nightwish midway through the Imaginarium tour. This concert was about six months later, at the very end of the tour.

Great reaction. I had never heard of Nightwish until recently. I found them because of the Wacken 2013 Ghost Love Score video. Since then, I have bought most of the old Nightwish albums and I have converted several people to become Nightwish fans. I'm hoping to go see Nightwish in Europe next year when they go on tour. And yes, Tarja was awesome, but Floor is my favourite singer on earth!

Then Floor came along and here i am fangirling my old favorite band again :). Floor makes Anettes songs better as well so i recommend you Romanticide or Song of Myself next both live at wacken as well. i think those were anettes songs correct me someone if im wrong but they are 1000 times better with Floor if they were :). Elan is song i recommend as well but i do recommend that as official studio version since the music video is beautifully made as well and Floors singing is almost same as it would be live

I know what you mean. I've been following Nightwish pretty much since their start and Tarja will be in that sense always on a very special spot, she started it. And I am not saying anything bad about Anette, it simply wasn't her style but I still wish all the best to her. But Floor, dang.. That's something on an entirely different level.

As an After Forever fan and old Nightwish fan when I heard about Floor being in the band I was siked. She's amazing. I knew she was strong live but she got a lot stronger since After Forever.... and I'm here for it!

OMG...Holy $hit..I have goosebumps all over...How did I miss NW being reborn? Well the 6' 1" Dutch dynamo, Floor Jansen, the Valkyrie Goddess that has descended into the band Nightwish scores another "Floorgasm" victim. First and foremost, Floor and Tarja are friends so forget the "who is better" nonsense and they are both great but also different. Floor as you can and will see if you continue (highly recommend as an old fan you watch the entire Wacken concert as the band was at it's best this night) has power, range and most noticeably stage presence that commands the crowd and the viewer from start to finish. Jukka has been forced due to health issues to retire (now the band's business manager) but was replaced by Kai (drummer from Wintersun, another fantastic band for your consideration ( ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Tl5T-glTdXw.html)). They have also added Troy a Folk Metal master who has made the band even better (Try I Want My Tears Back (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ga-hR7CYbwQ.html)). Floor is amazing but you need to experience her LIVE to truly appreciate her impact on the Nightwish fans. Her and Marco have become a fantastic duet team and she is able to sing anything so Tuomas has free range to create anything his mind can imagine with her as the band's vocalist. No need to list anything for an old fan but start with Wacken, 2013 then hit Wembley. Floor has only been on one album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful, but the band is now working on a new album (Floor's second) which is highly anticipated. Floor has brought so many of the old NW fans back to the band but also drawn a whole new army in with her as well. If you were still listening to the "old" version of the band great, now step into the realm ruled by the Metal Goddess that is Floor Jansen, oh and welcome home!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yet another dude totally Floored on his knees! 😎👍 This final part singing with these amazing high notes (where Tarja already stopped singing and usually left the stage) is Floor's trademark here which she arrange by herself pretty soon when stepped into the band in 48 hour rush to learn their setlist. She came as a substitute vocalist in the middle of North American Tour October 2012 and only few weeks later she sang this song in Brazil that way and the Brazilians went totally nuts and were sold right away! I think that song should've sung this way at the very beginning. It brings to the song so much more! Well, how about Romanticide from the same Wacken concert?
