Of course Marco can sing 😁 he also has solo projects as Floor has. And Troy well the random musician of the band...give him a instrument and he will play it! 💪 This songs are there to give the public some breathing moments, to give them energy when Floor returns to the pedal....🤣 Juka was/is a beast behind the drums 💪😋 and Kai is (indeed) more technical 👌🤘 There are some drum cams of Kai on YT, have watched them and still can not hear a bad stroke. A good concert is as life is there are some fast moments, also some cooling down moments and Love moments. Thnx for doing this Mate! Lovely song and a good reaction 😘 ...Have fun 👊
Just read a media review on the upcoming album. Yes, they were invited to hear it with NW group. They said that this is the first album where it's really Kai himself playing. On EFMB Jukka had already done most of the songs before he had to step back. Kai kind of tried to mimic his style the best he could (sound wise) and that alone shows how great he is as a drummer. Btw, I got the chills just reading the review. It told it'll be everything I anticipated and more. Now it'll be very hard to wait (if it wasn't before).
I think you have to realize that Tuomas composes, assigning musical parts to the song. If he wants a particular instrument to stand out, it will, or it won't. Like a larger symphony orchestra, each musician plays his part-there are no impromptu wild flights of musical fancy outside of his score. I believe the word is...discipline. The result is Nightwish, a glorious expression of multiple talents who mesh perfectly, and as far as I can tell, without ego.
following his insomnia problems, Jukka (as in Yukka) Nevalainen temporarily stepped down from his position as a drummer during the summer camp rehearsal sessions for the previous album, Endless Forms Most Beautiful. he asked his friend, Kai Hahto, to replace him. ever since Jukka has been focusing on his behind-the-scene management duties (AFAIC he runs the official webstore for the band and does all their financial stuff) and finally announced he'd be leaving the band for good in fall 2019 since Kai has proven to be a great substitution. this makes Kai Hahto their drummer for five years now.
New Nightwish studio album 'HUMAN. :II: NATURE.' to be released on April, 10th! Pre-orders start February 7th! Noise 03. Shoemaker 04. Harvest 05. Pan 06. How's The Heart? 07. Procession 08. Tribal 09. Endlessness Disc 2: 01. All The Works Of Nature Which Adorn The World - Vista 02. You have to check Marko's band Tarot, as they are true godfathers of Finnish heavy metal. Beyond Troy, Tides, Wings of Darkness, Dancing on the wire, Spell of Iron and so much more great songs.
Check also the original version with a movie (actors and story)....cause this song is made for a part of the movie called "Lieksa". That original has no guitar or female voice. Marco does awesome vocal work in other NW songs too plus his solo album stuff. Kai is so great drummer as Jukka too...both extremely technical and precise being perfect for NW. Naturally I miss Jukka cause he is original one and in that sense belongs to the time frame this song originates.
This song was written for a Finnish movie score "Lieksa" from 2007. Troy is using an Ebow to recreate what on the original recording is a violin part. You can see him holding it in his right hand. Emppu had this on off to have a beer backstage. First day of love never comes back A passionate hour’s never a wasted one The violin, the poet’s hand, Every thawing heart plays your theme with care
It makes you think .. what a beautiful message Nightwish gives you! one of the most beautifull songs from Nightwish .. Marko is excellent and when Floor starts with her "backing vocals" .. goosebumps! is there a better duo than these two? these two are really created to sing together ...
I love Marko’s voice. It has a fragility to it, yet somehow it comes out so strong. Almost a brittleness, kinda like ice. For a real treat, check out Floor and Marko singing Ave Maria together.
Wauw you finaly reacted to it :) Told ya it was a great song, and ofc Marko can sing, you did the islander also didn't ya? Now react to The Carpenter Please from Buenos Aires :)
Two things. We all are cool in our own ways. But we'll never be Marco cool - he's the only one who can have Floor singing backing vocals. Another thing about the song; it ends suddenly, unexpectedly and too soon - like life itself ... So kiss while your lips are still red :) Peace and love :)
Marko is an excellent singer, just hear him in the old Nightwish version of "High Hopes" - it is better than the original I think (original is Pink Floyd). 🤘🤘
Marko’s album coming soon soon soon in english. ❤️ The song Voice of my Father came yesterday. You should listen that. 🙂 Drummer Kai Hahto is amazing. He is in the band Wintersun too. I’ve recommended their song before too. Sons of Winter and Stars is good to begin with. And then there is great Tarot songs also. It is Marko’s previous band. I love song called Gone for example. And of course thank you for great reaction Detrucci.
You know Marco can sing, you should have enough evidence by now. :D Though if you don't, there's always 'Tides' by Tarot you could check out. ;) And if you want to see one more thing Troy brings to the table, go find a recent live version of The Carpenter.
@@DetrucciI get that, especially when he does those gentle, soft low notes. :) Another one of my faves in that vein is when he sang Raoul's role in 'All I Ask Of You' from Phantom of the Opera with the Finnish opera singer Marjukka Tepponen.
Great reaction, yeah the Marco songs are great. I'm affraid there are only two of them. The songs were written in the Annet time, but I hope there is room For those songs in the future. The name of the drummer is Kai Hahto, he is no showman as Jukka was, but an excellent drummer non the less. An example of that is the song Weak Fantasy live at Wembley. Troy is a multi instrumentalist, so also on guitar. Did you know he also is a good singer? To see that listen to My Walden live at Wembley or The Carpenter, live at Buenos Aires.
