Thanks for this, your comments are spot on. I have found that it's not possible for me to watch this performance without my eyes watering a bit - or, usually, a lot! The melody is haunting and beautiful, and the vocals from Marko and Floor hit me hard. This London show was a month after multiple terrorist attacks in the Paris area killed 130, injured over 400 - hence Marko's opening comments. The Islander from the Tampere concert is another fantastic Marko expo, and again with Floor adding in just the right amount of her perfection! Peace 😊✌🤘❤

This is not a official Nightwish song. Tuomas and Marko wrote it for the 2007 Finnish movie Lieksa (The Matriarch). Jukka played drums on the recording. In this live version from Wembley 2015, Floor's backing vocals and Troy's guitar with EBOW (electronic bow) ,are additions to the song. To put Marko's opening comments in context, this is in London, not long after the Paris night club bombings, think it was added to the setlist for that reason.

Here Marko shows his emotional and vulnerable side of his voice. I absolutely love the lyrics here. A very poetic and heartfelt tribute to innocent young love.
