@@Eniscen it is kinda true that they are famous among fans but the question is when it comes to their own personality , we won't know until things happen and everything is still unknown about their true character... but yea susy + cringe
Hex still seems mad about doki and her mods redirecting people to her. lol. Also that his fans don’t know his PL already like everyone else’s fans who have left. Not like mint/matra PLs were secret.
The sad thing is that at first the sarcasm was genuinely funny. Like "When I come back, yeah I'll totally fly to NijiHQ, break in, get back my account credentials, and login to make a community post" That is genuinely funny in its absurdity. But it should have ended there. Maybe saying something like "Oh, if only was that easy to reach back out to you guys" or give some other tell he was joking. But no, Hex just kept going and going on with it. One can milk a joke too much. Not to mention how it shifted from being funny sarcasm to a passive aggressive attack on both the asker and about what happened with Selen's "rogue" mods that fateful day.
I find the ones whose does jokes like this finds it to be personal. Not calling names here but I happened to watch a ytuber I never watch a try with a game I like to watch other play and it went alright until they kept making the same jokes. This joke seems very personal because they were bothered by one aspect of the game they weren't liking which okay i get anime whatever but like dude 3 times is enough but 6? I'm sure this is a funny dude but it was a hard watch for a first time viewers. So yes jokes likes this needs to be self aware even with personal feelings aside not cause of being offended but comes off as uncomfortable.
@orbitalvagabond7371 people say that it's a reference because Doki's mods did almost exactly that on the Selen channel the day she was fired, unprivated a waiting room, spammed the chat with a direct link to her account, and I'm not sure about this one but also published a community post with where to find her
I'm not a comedian, but I was like "Bruh, it's been 10 minutes. You gotta cut off the bit. Where is the chase, and how do I get to it?" I will say, that was a very weird question to ask, but Hex raked them across the dang coals.
I feel like the sarcasm thing wouldn't even be an issue if he was professional and mature enough to not address those types of comments. Seriously, he could always just let them go.
Ignoring comments that are obvious and blatanly talking about things you're better off ignoring? Nah that doesn't happen in niji, dude. You've come to the wrong agency lmao
And that's why I respected Pikamee Instead of guilt tripping over hating comments towards her, She chooses to ignore it all and focused on her future career.
What's sad is that hex's reaction doesn't even sound like he's being hyperbolic, or trying to make a funny haha out of the situation. This man is OOZING with malice.
It's funny. I've previously vocally pointed people to the PLs of former Nijisanji graduates (not even the ones in EN, but also Bobon and one of the JP graduates). But I feel no need to offer the same kindness to Hex. Honestly, I'm planning on completely forgetting that he exists.
I'm pretty biased bc I don't really like Hex's vibe and the way he communicates, so I already didn't really like the vibes of those clips even when I know he's being sarcastic. But still those comments were WIIIIIILD
If fans that don't primarily use English and consume English media want to keep watching EN Vtuber groups, they HAVE to just get used to the idea that they may not fully understand the culture and cannot apply their culture's rules to EN vtubers. They are claiming that EN vtubers are breaking rules that DON'T EXIST in our culture. If they don't know the rules themselves, they need to trust us to hold our own accountable when they break rules that we actually have.
@yotoniha genuinely tho, the more I watched this the more I thought "...who's man's is this??? THIS Y'alls oshi???" Like at this point I almost feel bad for the sisters......almost.
It's so easy to just let it go. Like even with the Niji hate around, you can separate that from yourself by thinking the fans hate the company not you.
I mean it IS a stupid fucking question tho. "Hey will you break your contract right at the end, just for me?" He should have just ignored it but it was incredibly stupid. Bro is apparently very pissed off and not holding that back to anyone, no clue where that'll get him after this but hey free popcorn time.
Oh, that was him? I'd forgotten about that. Makes sense that he'd be this vile when graduating, guess he's been that way his whole life and obviously doesn't plan on changing.
Yeah… I feel like he intentionally built a parascocial(?) fan base and that gives me major red flags. I’m honestly not surprised people reacted so bad to his “sarcasm” when they’re kinda just letting out the emotions they sponged up from him. it’s really hard to explain how exactly I feel about it all. To be fair I never really watched a full stream of his though so grain of salt
I never really watched hex since he never peaked my interest not to mention he sounds like the person that had vanished off the youtube platform back in november 2021
something really off about the dude and it's really bad when you can just pick it up even through them voice acting a character. he ain't that good of an actor to play being that weird for that long.
@professorpenne9962 I'll be honest same not to mention it's coming from someone who's never watched that individual only found out after watching people talking about how that individual did breathing tweets not to mention I heard his voice on an video explaining the guy which I'm just like God damn it
I remember when the dox site used to be up, people kept complaining about how creepy he was on his page. Before likes on twitter became private, he was caught liking random girls pictures and fan's selfies even though they never @ him.
@@Gakusangi I'm hoping we'll get a new graduation every month until they merge the rest of EN. And, with each new graduation, we get more proof of how horrible they are.
@@Ashreihn I don’t really think they sound that similar 😅 corpse husband has a deeper voice w/ more vocal fry and their personalities seem a bit different from what little I’ve seen of them both
He's HAD this kinda fanbase even in his past life as KyrioCypher. He's just an overall two-faced, backstabbing, toxic person. And now that he's gone, he's almost certainly gonna go back to being KyrioCypher again on the indie side of things. Now if only we can do something about Elira, Vox, Enna, Millie, Reimu, Kotoka, Luca, Uki, and Finana... Perhaps then, Niji EN would be a much better place, provided the branch doesn't get dissolved entirely after Elira graduates. lol
@@amerinymmWell...aside from Luca and Uki who have been publicly outed for being incompetent and homophobic respectively - the rest mentioned are allegedly part of a "mean girls" - esque clique with Elira, Enna and Millie playing ringleader.
@@amerinymm from the top of my head (correct me if im wrong) Enna, Millie, Elira, Vox, Reimu and Finana have this "clique" that they only like each other and bully other livers, like Selen/doki Uki is racist against white Luca is a liar and has masturbated on someone during vr (past life)
I legit forgot about Hex's graduation until last night. And then I forgot about it again until 10 in the morning. And then I forgot about it AGAIN Like... this is the same guy who said he lives in our heads rent free during his graduation announcement...
The sad thing is that whether or not he’s being sarcastic/edgy, he cannot stop spitting out resentment and grievance so outward within his statements. See, sarcastic or gaslighting humour has a certain form of delivery that when you point out you’re just saying shit, it makes people laugh in bewilderment of the ridiculousness. Some examples would be Super Mega or Caddicarus People didn’t find hex’s jokes funny because he CANT make them funny himself, just ignorant or thinly-veiled spitefulness that keeps spewing out.
A reminder that Hex told a story about desecrating his friends grandpa's remains, and flushing a friends family goldfish. If these were jokes, theyre not funny and SUCH a red flag, if its real, he's a fucking psychopath.
@@gothcsmThis is just some other news I watched but Sayu happened to make adoring comments with younger boys in genshin impact. Which I got no opinion off since I don't really know Sayu content or watch her personally. And because it is clips from her streams it is more likely it is out context or deliberately added together to make it look worse than it looks. Again not throwing shade here but Sayu does have streaming experiences compared to others so this is probably something that got out of hand. This is all in stream too btw no evidance of other platforms she does this sort of jokes.
@@zaratastari2457 I think you meant to reply to the other person, but I know all of that and I was still a fan of Nijisanji EN when it all happened. I don’t support anything she said and I don’t like her at all, but the amount of hate she got was 100% unwarranted, especially since Hex has said things that are MUCH worse than what she did.
Part of me feels bad for Hex for the misunderstanding of sarcasm. I don't know enough about him to gauge whether he nurtured a toxic community or if its the korean fans who are failing their oshi but damn..
@@absalomdraconis Sarcasm can be very difficult to hear, especially if you're listening to a language that isn't your mothertongue. I don't know if Hex is an english native but his korean fans would have a more difficult time picking up on it, is my guess. I come from a country where dry humour and sarcasm is a normal thing to use in a conversation but I have met other natives who didn't immediately pick up on my sarcasm, even when I put on a different tone. I might be too generous here lol.
Hex graduation: Meh good riddance Grand Tour: one for the road (last special), Hololive EN Break the Dimension Concert, Aqua Graduation and Kamen Rider Gotchard Finale: I am… ready!!
The thing about sarcasm is that it is supposed to be the spice, not the whole damn meal. At a certain point you need to lean back and ask yourself if this is really just sarcasm or just veiled spitefulness and using sarcasm as a way to say it without getting in trouble.
One one hand, Hex's sarcasm went way too long and it went from funny irony to sounding like legitimate hostility towards the fun that asked the question, which is very toxic. On the other hand, nothing justifies the sheer hostility of his korean fans. With fans like these, I'm not surprised he decided to graduate
I've heard before that Korean people, much like Japanese people, don't do sarcasm and thus don't understand it. They don't really have the concept of it. Which explains why they would react like this, if they took it seriously.
@@flowerdolphin5648It's a bit worse in this scenario. Japanese people do understand what sarcasm is, but the issue is that they don't use it much for humor-it's for biting/scathing insults.
@Gruncival ah, I understand. Now that you mention this, you remind me of school. I live in Austria and in German, sarcasm is used for malicious purposes as well. I learned in school that sarcasm always wants to attack someone. Irony is what we use in a more lighthearted way. I'm sure there are people who want to be funny using sarcasm, but it's not usually well received. If it's like this in Japan, then I understand now.
If you count people being mad at him for flushing his friend’s goldfish down the toilet while it was still alive, and him flushing another one of his friend’s grandpa’s ashes down the toilet when he was mad at them, as “I cannot take sarcasm” then sure!
this reminds me so much of people in Japan saying they don't understand sarcasm, I guess it's a bigger cultural thing than I thought That Ollie outfit is genius
When I was watching Niji livers Hex wasn't on my radar outside of collabs and the occasional tweet that crossed the fyp. Even back then I was amazed at the Brass Ones this guy had. In his last two weeks I thought maybe I'd accidentally followed the guy on twitter bc every single one of his tweets both as Hex and his PL landed on my fyp. The realization both accounts had pretty much the same icon was something. Genuinely amazed this guy didn't get in more trouble.
Hex needs to get a lot of therapy, like seriously I feel it's important to note that Hex (if he was telling the truth) is still very young, he can still grow and realise what a sociopath he is.
@@Nomimonyo I'll give Vshojo the benefit of doubt. I'd like to think they have common sense not hiring a problematic person as Hex is; so that dude will remain forgotten (fingers crossed)
@@digitalyoutuber154 well...if we put it that way, no one knew how problematic Rushia was until the Mafu mafu arc and all the lies she said. I think this happened after joining Vshojo, and if I remember, she quit (if not mb, I don't know more news regarding her)
Being bitter and angry and passive aggressive during your last stream for a corpo is the number one way to NOT have people follow you back when/if you resurrect F tier strategy
Sidenote: the app wasnt even available in europe, calling it the global version was kind of a stretch... love how something gets called international or global version when stuff just accessible in the US So some talents werent even able to use that app themselves
@@flowerdolphin5648 yeah its just that the Info it isnt available in europe is on the bottom of the Page.... was already wondering why it didnt appear im my appstore... But europeans should be used to be neglected by now sadly~
'International' is an appropriate Term, as that refers to things expanding outside their original Country. But they chose the term 'Global', which can't apply here, as not enough languages are covered to make it usable around the whole world - I understand why they're referring to it like that, as they intend on updating the App until it fits the term, but in it's current state it's Not Applicable...
Stoppp cause that’s exactly what I’m saying 💀. Seeing all these people get mad and pay so much attention for a guy they don’t like is honestly outstanding…seems like they are closeted fans of him 😭
Wait... is that sarcasm? I mean, I can't blame people for not picking up on that, because his voice sounds exactly the same both times (and he kinda did say "Is this sarcasm? Noooo") I cannot recall why Hex would be in bad spirits with the Korean fanbase (I mean I remember Kyo had issues with his whole plastic surgery comments), but what did he actually do?? "Worst graduation stream" cannot take anything over Rira Ron's last stream, like... Am I missing something, what was so good/bad about that...? (Edit based on another comment chain, apparently Doki's mods posted in her community tab and linked her new stream in an old Selen stream (which I think I remember, but I genuinely never saw the first part of that), and claiming that Doki has broken five hundred corpo rules, which is rich coming from the guy who hasn't been able to avoid controversies since the year started)
While I’m not sure if Korean is the same, some languages don’t translate sarcasm well (particularly at a lower learning level) especially when it’s tonal-based. There is also the possibility that fans were reading a fan-translation or (I’ll be generous here) that he was maliciously translated. I do remember that Doki was malicious mis-translated in (mainland) Chinese circles and they had a similar outcry.
Yeah hex’s community has been practically implodeding the last few weeks with allegations of infighting and bullying, favoritism, some Korean fans actually being harassed which ended with hex barely addressing any of that stuff (honestly I think the last sentence is why hex’s Korean fans kinda dislike him now) Not to mention someone staged a su1cide attempt which hex addressed that by saying he can’t do anything about the situation, stop blaming him for it, and labeled it as a small matter if I remember correctly.
The sarcasm at the start was clear but it kind of turned sour after he started to respond to a viewer. I feel like he was joking at first but then he lost the plot. Wait sheesh burning bridges on a graduation stream. No matter what, that shit's super unprofessional.
I was under the assumption Cover had some foreign reps amongst their ranks, so it's weird no such rep seemed to be on board for holoplus's worldwide release to chime in "uhhhh guys for the rest of the world we should really consider upping the moderation a bit".
I think the Cover US office they opened is still getting its bearings and seeing where they fit into the grand scheme of things. At least, when Shishiron and Korone aren't stealing them to go to Vegas to see EVO. Then too holomems have been going to some new places in the US, Europe, etc. Cover seems pretty serious about slowing down new generations to expand the current opportunities for all of the active members.
This is like already the 6th month after Selen's incident and Niji is still burning. At this point, I'm convinced the rumors aren't just rumors. They lasted only about 100 days or 6 months at most. Almost 7 months.. Probably real.
Korean fans going crazy im not surprised.... Its not very common to have sarcasm like this in Korean broadcasting... If theres something remotely like this on shows its immediately cancelled by fans. Hex Haywire is definitely a culture shock for Korean fans 🫠🫠🫠🫠.
makes me question everyone who are friends with hex. are you seriously associating yourself with that kind of person? doesnt look like he's a joy to be with
Watched bits and pieces of the graduation clips but apparently everyone (I think?) say that he’s extremely nice and supportive so idk if it’s a persona he’s putting out (how he presents himself as a vtuber) or what but if it was, it didn’t help him one bit-
