at this point, i'm pretty sure they're maliciously not including talents that are the perfect fits for an event to make a statement that the talents "don't deserve it" there's definitely an on-going pattern here

So that Gura promo got me curious, and I hopped over to the Playstation channel. & lol they not just got Gura to do that promo, Kiwawa and IRyS also did their own version.
EDF decoy skins are not new for those curious. Back then in EDF 4.1, it was some female characters I am unfamiliar with. Then in EDF 5 Gamers got roped in, and finally the 3 girls of EN for EDF 6.

Unless you have the drive to shamelessly promote yourself on shorts like Rin Penrose and Doki in this Clipper Appocalpse(RU-vid is cracking down on monitized reused content) and post pandemic lockdown "captive audience" you are subject to the whims of your company's PR.....which sucks in case of Nijisanji between incompetence in PRing IP for merch equally and incompetence in at least training their talents in doing PR......you can pillow princess being a vTuber and expect viewers to show up
Nah, FuwaMocco is based on their Moe Twinstyle rountine they been doing for almost 2 decades after founding and being in 2 Jpop Idol groups( Its how they know Kiara, Pomu, Enna,Millie,and Elira from Jpop and Jpop adjecent culture and s contradiction to Clique rrats as Elira,Enna,and Millie would have seen FuwaMocco as a slam dunk Jagurnaunant just becauee they would carry their Jpop Idol day zfans, Moe Twinstyle fans(which they still perform live....thus the Mr Donut chair licking incident by weird fans cause they carelessly forgot how their fans can be😹) and Gogo Nippon Fans into EN with ability to collab with JP as the girls are proficient in Japanese
Its no surprise. Holo has a comparatively narrow, focused group of talents, and every JP talent has worldwide reach. A western holo fan can put a name to each face with ease. How many westerners can do that with all 200 or so nijiJP members? Nintendo wants to reach the WORLD, and niji is content to be the "biggest in japan." They are fundamentally incompatible.
Nijisanji and the sisters were proud that their talent don't get time restricted permissions to play Pokemon because of some deal, which was a big source of pride to them. They would just give Hololive the standard streamer terms and conditions, so this is a big thing. Which would mean at a corporate level, Nintendo's marketing may see Nijisanji a brand risk... or vice versa that the recent promotions like Korone and Sonic the Hedgehog and EDF prove that Hololive is more marketable and has better metrics. One of the highest rated games on Steam, is HoloCure.
@@boxhead6177 Well, Niji already cause some hulabaloo with their alcohol sponsorship and the govt got involved. Nintendo is an old school company who still believe in the govt so they realized how Niji became a huge brand risk.
@@kos2919 It's probably a lot more than just the alchohol fiasco. Nintendo probably has a list of good and bad activities when they evaluate who to partner with. Ideology isn't one of them, but reach is. Nijisanji has closed 3 branches and the 4th one is suffering. Nintendo probably looked at the Twitter and Reddit plus looked for alt names like Kurosanji and had someone translate the posts, revealing public sentiment in the West. Basically, Niji's absence of PR, has screwed them in the foot and with companies the CEO either knows the value of PR or he doesn't and if he doesn't he will eventually go under as the company will inevitably create too many upsets to continue. Niji has upset people in the West remarkably quickly, but I don't doubt that it is only because of the defamation laws there isn't a public outcry in Japan. I think, however, there is likely an underground of websites that don't get scraped and indexed and they have all the correct documentation for a lot of bad stuff and I would not doubt Nijisanji's name is all over some of those pages. @@Breezy8257they have branches outside of Japan. Their US branch for example is focused on business in the US. They don’t need to do translations or even go that deep into research. I’m sure they’re keeping tabs on Vtubers as it is the current trend.
I remember watching Kuroi Shiba before and she's so adorable that I subscribed immediately. I just found out that she's from Nijisanji today. She's so adorable, why can't they care more for their remaining talent ugh. How bad are they that they can't learn from their mistake.

Hololive x Nintendo is one of those collabs that I had never imagined, but I'm glad that Hololive has another W, and regarding the new HoloIndie game, imagine the possibilities of creating more HoloIndie games from various well-known genres such as, platforms, metroidvania, RPG, racing, action, puzzles, adventure, shooter, stealth, etc. I am not a video game developer nor am I an expert in 3D modeling and pixel art, but I do have a brilliant mind, I have a lot of imagination and full of great ideas, for example, the fangame titles for HoloIndies are: - HoloArena (a mix of HoloCure and the Roman coliseum arena style but much better) - HoloRacing (a racing game in the style of Mario Kart but with members of Hololive) - HoloParty (a Mario Party-style game with a variety of boards, mini-games, and playable characters from various Hololive members) I have already shared those ideas in a Hololive fan group on Facebook but everyone rejected me, they underestimated me, and made fun of me. I hope they will listen to me, but I hope that those who are reading my comment will make those fangames for me.
I'm sure those had already been conceptualized before. You have main character syndrome. Please don't demand fan games. Start watching tutorials & make one. Godot Engine or Stride Engine are beginner friendly game engines. Blender is the easiest 3d software to use. Use GraphicsGale or Piskel if you want pixel graphics. Stick with FLOSS.
BREAKING SAD NEWS: Hisaki Ganma from Holostar JP just got terminated. Im not sure what are causing him just got terminated...probably its the same case like Mel case. The NDA thingy. For those who don't know who Ganma is..he is member of Holostar UPROAR! and he is well-known for being digital artist in VCR RUST. he has did alot of illustration of many vtubers in VCR.
I did check. There is an announcement notice but in JP so I don't know what the content is saying. Judging by the replies, a lot of "thank you for your work" which does imply he's no longer in Holostars.

The kyoto event has some really good picks. Gen 1 and nodoka (who will probably be moving into more of achans role) will be great representatives for that event. All pretty comfortable joking around and being social with random people.
Nintendo may also have chosen Hololive over Nijisanji because they are an international company and are aware that niji has a bad rep elsewhere. Nijis bad rep wouldn't just affect consumer reception, but also potential collaborations with other companies. Hololive is just a safer option at the end of the day
Holo indie being able to monetized has been a big step up on them being collaborative with other types of creators. Lets everybody make some money doing something they like to be a part of and make.
