If you want him play is acts super fast when he bluffing and a lot slower when he actually has a hand. I’m pretty sure that’s the tell these guys have figured out and why he keeps getting called
Yeah... Like Nik's "snap-bet" right before the snap call on a QQQ82 board with a flush, like you don't have at least a bit of thinking to do in that spot, with whatever hand you might have there? Jeez...
Yeah that's honestly all it is. I don't know why people assume that high stakes player = pro. Most of the time it means you couldn't beat the microstakes but your parents are rich.
@@AllHaiLKINGTIsHeRe3I can guarantee u no one assumes that. 90% of hustler regular cannot beat 50NL, but that’s what makes the game fun to watch isn’t it
@aeiouaeiou When airball told Stanley ' I bluffed all night, I have to have it one time', he's basically begging Stanley to fold. Then he adds, 'mathematically speaking, and I know you're a math guy'. He's saying too much and it all wreaks of desperation.
@@alfredgreeneiv you genuinely believe that? you actually think they asked him if it was okay to post this? You must believe in fairies and leprechauns lol
Don't know why people are so hard on Airball. He discovered that losing money allows him to set next to people and experience something resembling friendship.
25:39 my favorite hand of all time. The auto-call with AK on the river bet was godmodeish. Airball's soul was sucked out of him and you know it'll effect their interactions forever. It won't be surprising if Airball finds reasons not to play with Rampage....especially in live stream games.
rampage knew airball bluff too much and have been caught many times in that session and base on his size bet. Rampage knew airball is tilting so he will try to make a big bet to push everyone away. Dont be tilting and bluff with ridiculous size bet with the pros poker who have better skill than u. They will take your money very easy and push u too more tilting to lose more money.
Is it me or does he act super fast when he bluffing and way slower when he has a hand? Does he not realize this? Also watch how he drinks water every time he bluffing. If I picked up on these tells in just this short video of corse these guys are picking up on it as well.
Love this video; he's such a co*k in victory; I literally saw him laughing his head off at Rampage when he sucked out on him with AA v J5. I don't enjoy watching people lose money that much but he is an exception.
Once, after he beat the guy sitting next to him, he stood up and started gyrating with his junk in the guys face. It was a bad beat for a sizable amount, I thought the guy was going to smack him.
I used to think I was good at poker, winning a couple hundred a week at my home game. Then the "Nik Airball" of our group moved away, and suddenly, the free cash stopped flowing.
I mean Berkey definitely has his .. personality... but the fact that Airball took it all the way to the ... "bank"... kind of shows what kind of personality Airball is... Airball crossed the line I think many times in other shows too... This is a good thing, this video... lol
Hand 10: A high Hand 9: J high Hand 8: 10 high Hand 5: 10 high Hand 4: K high Hand 3: A high Hand 2: 7 high Hand 1: A high Nik Airball is the greatest, most accurate nickname in poker history.
The hand against Stanley, Nik talked waaaaaaaaay too much. He constantly kept implying for Stanley to fold. You just would never do that if youre trying to get paid or if youre super strong. Betting 2x the pot on the river just reeks of "Go away. Please dont call!"
In retrospect, especially when he says “I have to have it one time” and then puts his palms up and looks at the other players at the table, “mathematically, and I know you’re a math guy”….it really looks weak. That said, I think Stanley was calling the river after he called the turn, and the overbet and the speech probably didn’t have much impact. He didn’t want to embarrass Nick by snapping him off.
I love how Airball looks genuinely confused when people call him. "Why would people call me with Ace high?" he asks as he fires off another airball, after which he is named.
if he tightened up like 25% on his bluffing frequency I think it would be an OK strategy, he's definitely putting his opponents to the test as seen by the tanks
I remember watching Rampage come out of his local winning fractions of what he won in this compilation. He was always awestruck and ready for the next. Wow. Hope this gets to him.
Owning that Atm should be illegal. That's highway robbery right there. He just wants to be part of the table. His close people must have an intervention. Lay off poker and get on a treadmill.
I love how he has the balls to ask how do people call him with those hands...when you are THE BIGGEST PUNTER OF ALL TIME, you are going to get called ALOT!!!
Say what you want about whether Dwan is a top 5-10 player in the world now, or ever, no one can deny he has run like a god since the very first time he sat down for televised poker. There’s no better online dude who made the transition to live play.
@@paul-u2y9yMoneymaker sucked out at the final table at the WSOP main event. Ivey flopped a full house with 99, and moneymaker hit a better boat on the river after all-in. Eliminated Ivey.
Nik Airball vs Tom Dwan is probably the biggest mismatch in the history of high stakes poker. Nik had absolutely no business being at a table with Dwan.
That so funny when he said to Rampage you calling with Ace High? He didn't realize that he was bluffing with Ace high with very bad kicker. Poor air ball😁
Sooner or later something shady will come out about this Nick and the money he makes. Whole thing makes zero sense .. the dude plays like its play money and keeps reloading and reloading and constantly playing with no work. He is an Investor ... I guess time will tell. Its pretty clear he trying to be someone he is not ...
They say his wifes family is rich but the guy is losing a million in one game and keeps coming back i agree with you something isnt adding up ill bet one day he will be on poker news sites and they will be saying he owes alot of money to players and other people
To be fair, most of these top 10 “bluffs” are pretty good. Ivey or dwan with the same hands probably can pull the bluffs a high percentage of the time. It’s just that airball has such a bad image, making it “easy”? to snap call 100k river bet with ace high on him lol
right? He did say "I am just afraid that you might be bluffing with a better hand" So he was def ruling out Nik for an ace or king...he must have only feared Nik bluffing with his lovable 10-4 offsuit Basically, if you call him on the turn you really have to stick with your gut and call the river that is such a brick and still under your pair....easy to say, HARD to do
I think it's safe to say the regulars on HCL have "a read" on Nik Airball. Can anyone point out what the live tells are? Andy's call with 88 on that scary board is what confirmed it for me.
Is he really down 4M just at HCL? That’s crazy. And these are the people we suppose to trust our money with (I hear he’s a investment banker, or is that just made up)?
These aren't swings. He is getting crushed. I would bet he's lost more money in HCL history than anyone else, probably more than the next 5 players combined. If he really is a 28 year old investment banker, he has to be incredibly brilliant at that occupation to be able to withstand this level of poker losses
@@ThisIsMyRU-vidAcct 😅😂🤣 You're out of the loop It's fact that's been confirmed I can even tell you how much But you should check yourself Nick Vertucci himself said so
Hand against Stanley, interesting post-hand verbal exchange. Nik Airball: How do they call with these hands? (To Stanley) Did you see my hand? Stanley: Yes NA: You did?! S: Yes. Somebody beeped(?) me (laughs and looks at table) NA: Oh (after a pause of dejected acceptance) No, I mean like, did you see my hand when I was looking at it, in the hand? S: (gets serious) What? NA: did you see my hand when I was looking at it? S: Uh, no. (pauses) Of course not! (again looks at table and laughs) Did you do that? I didn’t realize you do that? Seems like Stanley might have thought Nik was asking if he saw an earlier hand from the stream (a big bluff he lost and didn’t show makes sense), which is why he said “somebody beeped me”, or something like that. Then when Nik clarifies he’s asking about that particular hand, Stanley gets mildly annoyed at the suggestion, Nik drops it and moves on. Interesting that the earlier hands on stream seem to play a part.
If you go to the Hustler Live Casino leaderboards that track wins and loses for their live streams, Nik was basically even through 90 sessions. He was up like 9K. After last week he's now down 160K over 93 sessions. It's funny, Mike X, Luda Chris, Isreali Ron and Wesley have all lost way more than Nik. Andy Stacks is down over 56 streams (are we sure he's good)
I'm probably one of the few people that don't wish ill on Nik. He's a really nice guy who would probably give you the shirt off his back, if you asked. Him losing hundreds of thousands of dollars is an unfortunate side effect of personal issues he has going on that we will never know about. Poker is his catharsis. Unfortunately, it can be a VERY expensive habit if you have very little self awareness...especially in terms of table image. If he can humble himself and admit that he needs to improve his game, especially when it comes to bluffing, he could take his game to the next level. I truly wish him well.
How can you imply that he has personal issues for gambling in high stakes?! What if he is ok with losing some money for the connections or fun that he gets? He is probably very wealthy and doesn’t mind at all
