@@Deno_7_ Courtney and Tatiana both sound almost identical live to studio. The rest of the band no clue though. I think I'm just gonna settle on loving both of them 😌
Tatiana has been my favourite singer for the last 10 years... I love this band so much. It's incredible how much they're getting better! Loved the reaction. I was waiting for you to see this one!
@@andreaslion5877 Eh. I'd say her voice is better than a majority of deathcore vocalists nowadays because so many of them focus on sounding brutal over communicating the emotion in their songs. Tatiana is good at driving home emotion, plus her voice is insanely versatile. Very distinct clean vocals and gnarly lows. I'd put Joe Badolato from Fit For an Autopsy on her level, as well as Phil Bozeman and probably Ben Duerr as well. There are probably some other versatile deathcore vocalists that I'm forgetting, but those are my favorites.
I can't wait to see them in November and hang out with them again. It's been too long. I got to hang out with them in 2019 and I got to photograph their show. They headlined with Sumo Cyco & The Browning who opened up. Jinjer are some of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Tati hugged me and I felt so lucky because that's pretty rare you get a full on hug from her.
I think that whilst Jinjer has gone towards a more creative route, Spiritbox is trying to become safer. Therefore, their difference is widening. Jinjer is frankly, way better and classier than Spiritbox. That song, Secret Garden, was a bit too safe.
@@faisal1582 Completely disagree. It was not safe given what Spiritbox is known for. If anything, it was the least safe track they've released. It was chosen to be soft for the sake of the theme of the song, and conveying it musically. You're right that they're very different as bands. Most people just conflate them because they take precedence to the popularity of female leads in metal with harsh vocals, whilst being able to switch to very good clean vocals. That, and Courtney and Tatiana are both beautiful women, so their image plays a part in their popularity undoubtedly (not to detract at all from their talent, I couldn't give a shit, regardless of their looks).
@@gSWG3R whilst there is no right or wrong in music, there are some combinations of melody and instrument that are palatable. It doesn’t make it cheaper or worse, or the other more creative or groundbreaking. Secret Graden is more palatable. Hence the usage of the term safe. No disrespect to either.
@@robsunday6004 yeah, I've been getting into Spiritbox lately. Been a huge Jinjer fan for a while though. Both are incredible but I give Tati the edge.
@@justint2723 yeah nothing against Tatiana at all. She gets lower than Courtney and is great, but I just prefer Court and Spiritbox. Both djent though so that's all that matters lol
Probably one of my favorite songs from Jinjer. This shit is so solid. I think even the musicianship has improved. Vlad is killing the drums. I think that's his name. 😂 It's early
I'm of the opinion they picked up where Dillinger left off in terms of progressive segments. Of course they have their Opethy moments too. As a band, they're pretty much untouchable right now.
Tbh Nik I’ve been waiting to see if you were ever gonna react to Jinjer again. You gotta check out the future of rock of a band called the warning as well. They are 3 sisters from Mexico started when they were like 12,10, and 7 now they are 21,19, and 16. Dani 21 the guitarist is the lead, Pau (POW) 19 is the drummer and sings as well, Ale 16 plays bass and bg vocals. They all started the band because of rock band.
You should check out Anaal Nathrakh. They are an English Black Metal band and fuse elements of Grindcore,Death Metal and Industrial with Black Metal. One of the most absolutely amazing, unique and majestic Metal bands to ever exist. Here are some songs that you should check out- •Forging towards the sunset •You can't stop me.....so stop f***king trying •Of fire and f**king pigs •Satanarchist •A metaphor for the dead These guys make almost all other Extreme Metal bands look like weaklings.
You don't watch a reaction for the song itself, you watch a reaction for the reaction. His commentary isn't interruptive. The song isn't a huge distraction from his reaction either if that's what you meant
