I got ‘em and they look great in person. I agree with you, the materials are solid. I absolutely love both the concept and the colorway! Also, the oni horns looking like two swooshes is a nice touch!

Great review Sean and on point pronunciation of Setsubun ! I agree with you on the premium materials and craftsmanship, but I am a bit skeptical of the shiny effect on the swooshes after the leather is cracked, and the leather is a bit stiff compared to the Bagel Dunk. There’s in fact a Setsubun Dunk Hi released early this year as well which looks quite similar to the lows.

yes, these are total different look, feel, materials, theme wise. They took the effort to make new shoes. other wise just making a little bit change on past design and releasing as new pair.

How's the khaki cracked leather feel? Is it soft to the touch? Or a little bit above average from your standard dunk quality?

the toe cracked leather is better than plastic panda dunks but not incredible. the suede / nubuck is better.

Honest question. How much space should be in the toebox for it to be considered a snug fit? I've got slightly more than a thumbs width in mine at the front and I'm debating if they're too big or not

that’s roomy for me. somewhere around an index fingers width space to a thumbs width space is ideal for me. anything tighter than that is a bit snug.
