I have 2 pairs of Kobe 8s and they are based off the Christmas "Rhinoceros Viper" pattern. I said I was done with this generation of Kobe's until the next, but purple is my favorite color.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that can't exactly figure out why they love the Kobe 8 so much lol. I agree with these being the shoe of the year, this is the only shoe that I would buy every CW of (except Blue Lights, I must be the only person who liked em a lot more before I wore em so I ended up trading my pair).

Red is the most unique since the bottom is red too

I own 4 pair of the Kobe 8's and I will have the Purple Gradient on Saturday. At first, I just wanted to get a pair of this year's Kobe's and bought the Yellow and Black pair and after wearing them and noticing how good the lunarlon felt on my feet, knees and lower back I was completely hooked. Also, I'm not a hooper, I just wear them for style and comfort. I was buying Puma El Rey and El Ace as my leisure shoe and the Kobe 8's have dethroned them. I serious don't know if Nike can top this shoe
