Do you think you can do double unders with this shoe? I can picture doing anything barbell with pull ups, rowing, biking, box jumps, and even burpees. But not sure if double unders would work.
@@xnotmarcox I go 1/2 size up on the Metcon 6 AND on this shoe. Otherwise my toes are cramped. Some people tell me their regular size is fine in the M6, but it's hard to give specific advice for an individual.
@@fitatmidlife927 same advice with the others, but when i ordered my tts online, the M6 was actually half a size bigger for me. Kinda regret that purchase. Man, my feet are weird. Lol. I guess, i’ll consider going half a size down for these. Can’t try these in store here. Thanks!
@@xnotmarcox I'm wearing an 11.5 in both (Metcon 6 and Savaleos). That's 1/2 size up from my normal. I've tested multiple pairs of Metcon 6 in different sizes. It's too cramped in the toes otherwise (for me).
I"m considering grabbing a pair of 2s. Seems like the only place to get them is overseas and they are expensive + exchange rate + shipping, so I've not gotten around to it yet.
Just got these & then saw reviews. Imo a great weightlifting/some x-training shoe. Def 1/2 size up. Great price & although very stiff (didn't like the faux leather outer at 1st) but breaks in fantastic! And cleans up well, (Like the back in the day stiff leather). Cant' go wrong with price!! Is 1 pair of Romeleos worth 2 pairs of Savaleos price wise? Only if your a competing weightlifter.
Plz help! Cant decide wether to get Metcon 6 premium silver or React Metcon Turbo. The premium is on sale for $114.97 & the turbo $150. I have Savaleos for olympic lifting & don't run in any of these. I opted for the premium silver as the price was the deciding factor but $ isn't everything. The turbos smaller rope mid is a huge improvement of that god awful HUGE sole rise for rope climbing (which i don't do). Plz help decide! TY in advance
Do you think savaleos is proper for not only squat but also ohp and conventional deadlift? Im considering savaleos for overall WL shoe, but Im bit worried about offset even if its lower than other WL shoes.
are gel inserts for added support a good idea? would there be a big difference? i hv a hard time finding training shoes so i tend to buy more basketball styles. Plantar fasciitis issues i suppose
I haven't tried this so I can't say. If you need more cushion + heel raise + reasonable stability for barbell lifts - have you tried the Metcon 6? With the Hyperlifts in the heel raise is 12mm total. They have a good deal of cushion (compared to an Oly lifter, but nothing like a running shoe).
No - for me I wear 11.5 in BOTH the Metcon 6 and Savaleos. In every other shoe, I wear an 11. The toe area is too cramped in the M6 and Savaleos for me. The Savaleos are sized (IMO) similar to the Romaleos.
I have never had Metcons or Romaleos. I wear 10’s in he Legact Lifters and Nanos. I love the look and price of these so would you think I should grab a 10.5 in these?
