The difference between this year and the last is that skaters can finally wear their kicks and buy them again if they want to. Regular people can wear their pair and not worry about the resell aspect.
Got my pair yesterday from GOAT , and they’re absolute BANGERS. Video doesn’t do them justice, super high quality materials used . To hit on your point about this year being a disappointment , well to match last year and the year before that would be extremely hard , my opinion is that there were so many huge colabs and a lot of of disappointed people that could not hit for retail and would not pay aftermarket prices , so this year NIKE is focusing more on GR releases so more people can get a pair even if they couldn’t hit for retail. My opinion of course and on that Big Money Savings shoe I would agree that they are 🔥. Saw them at my work the other day and I was honestly impressed with them. Trying to get my hands on a pair for myself because of how impressive they were to me.
Was able to snag the Burnt Sunrises for retail. Hoping these beauties are next. It’s mandatory since I’ve got City of Styles in rotation. Another certified hood banger by the way. Also, it’s been a great year so far from Nike SB. Some great colorways, cool collabs & actually been able to snag right many pairs retial. Anyone speaking negatively about the “current state” of the SB are most definitely resellers.
They look really nice and the materials are top notch! Finally we skateboarders have gotten back our sb dunks and dont have to pay greedy reseller prices! This year is great for sb dunk fans like me!
Honestly this color way is really sweet! Tho i dont have anyrhing in my closet to match sadly but its a nice colorway! And last note even tho last year had a lot of cool sb dunks last year with the collabs, i argue this year is better mainly now you can get some nice cool sbs for retail or under amd easy to cop as well! But that my opinion and ofc! Another fire video from mr hood classic as usual!🔥🔥🔥
I picked mine up yesterday and I love them. Just really nice. I will put them away for next year on the off chance the UK actually gets a summer in 2025
I honestly think next year will be ALOT better for SB’s and it’ll go back to a lot of the OG style colorways.. most 2024 GR SB’s were all focused around Paris themes, hence the “city of”. Next year will be a great year for SB’s calling it now!
old school "city pack" color blocking very similar paneling to the london, gulf of mexico and gold rail sbs. nike almost never does a matching swoosh to the toeguard and its quite a good look
My advice to anyone getting these go a half size up! Pretty much on any Nike sb Dunk low pro. I’m a true size 10, recently got a size 10 on the J pack Chicago and even though they fit, I have almost no toe wiggle room! Got these in a 10.5 and it’s chefs kiss! Also just picked up a 10.5 on the St Patties from 2022 and perfect! GO Half size up!!
QC was very good on this pair, but mine did have a tiny bit of glue left behind on the tongue of the left shoe. Plus, a very tiny burn marking in the embossing on the rear. Not very noticeable, but it goes to show you they still don't do the best job when it's a GR drop.
They super sat in US. Still available but i took the chance to check them out. I dont buy on hype anyhow n prefer a not popular shoe😊. Id argue the GRs this year for SBs are way better than last. They all could have easily been collabs

Love these, Had a pair on order but got let down a couple of days ago and order was cancelled, if anyone finds a UK size 13 anywhere for retail it would be greatly appreciated, I am having no joy, have just purchased the black & pine green SB’s and the phantom/malachite-hyper royals too for the collection and got those on sale too
The BMS and these are super sick. To me, on par with the Aprils and Yutos (faves of last year) They don't feel like suede though? They are way stiffer than all my suede SBs Will say though, these are narrow as compared to the BMS
If the swoosh was backwards and they flew off shelves then u would be complaining that u couldn't secure your pair. I don't understand these types of comments...
These came out weeks ago in US I don't remember when I got my pair but it's been about a month and the tab on back of mine is a shade is green I actually had spare green lace in that exact tone I put in my pair it looks really good.

When you've owned redwing boots and especially boots that were handcrafted in the Pacific Northwest, it's really hard to ever buy into the hype when it comes to Nike or any other popular consumer item that is of such poor quality. At the end of the day you're giving your hard earned money to a company that might as well just be laughing at you for being so ignorant. I would go so far as to say that a person Who is so mentally enslaved as to buy into this crap, almost has it worse off than the physically enslaved little kids who make these shoes in sweat factories.
